It was a shame he was never granted a title shot as ruddock was a big name at the time, before Tyson lost to Douglas ruddock was supposed to fight him for the undisputed crown but Tyson pulled out and what was going on between Bowe and Holyfield. I think he was one of the most deserved fighters to get a shot but wasn’t given his fair share
Ruddock's main problem was that he was a mainly a one handed fighter, if he had only learned some boxing skills he would have been able to give lennox a run for his money
