You are most welcome! And also make sure to loosen the glow plugs with care... they tend to snap when loosening ... if it resists too much... don't force it!
Thank you sir! For your tutorial make a lot of sense! I have this problem with a Thermo king unit and is burning the fuse! For couple times so I think this is the problem!! Thanks once again!!👍👍👍👍😆😆
How does the wiring for the grow plug work. Is current supplied to the grow plug when the ignition is on , or when the ignition is on start. I want to check my wiring for the grow plugs. Have installed new ones but i have hard start in the morning, but when its hot , there is no problem starting.
The glow plugs will get power when the ignition switch is turned on, The power will usually be supplied via the glow plug relay. The glow plug relay is controlled by the glow plug timer. On cold engine, connect a voltmeter between the glow plug terminal and the battery ground, you should read battery voltage as soon as the ignition switch is turned on. The power supply should continue for some seconds even if the engine is not started. If no power comes to the plugs, then check the relay, timer and wiring.
Inspect the two individually! Do you have good cranking speed? If you have, then it means the battery is good! Or turn ON the head light and try cranking, if the light goes off completely, then your car battery is weak!
Not really! The glow plugs responsibility is basically during start up. Once the engine is started, the glow plug function is not required because they are cold start aid. And therefore if engine stops while driving, glow plugs are not to blame.

Glad it helped! Repeated burning of fuse indicates there is a short circuit in the system!

Exactly 💯, you are a good lecturer
Glad you think so!
Thanks for providing information ❤
My pleasure 😊
What is the best way to determine if it is a battery problem or glow plug problem on cold mornings?
Inspect the two individually! Do you have good cranking speed? If you have, then it means the battery is good! Or turn ON the head light and try cranking, if the light goes off completely, then your car battery is weak!
Can defective glows plugs cause the engine to cut out while driving ? Nice explanation of information in your video 👌
Not really! The glow plugs responsibility is basically during start up. Once the engine is started, the glow plug function is not required because they are cold start aid. And therefore if engine stops while driving, glow plugs are not to blame.
Very nice vedio thanks ❤️
Most welcome!
Waww I appreciate you.
You are so welcome!
Very informative, many thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Glowplug, relay is okey but will not start the engine
How about the individual glow plugs? Are the all fine too? The relay might power them but if their coil is blown, it is no good!
Thanks bor
Welcome
