Thanks for the tutorial. Really helpful.
Question: When importing the CSV contacts, and these contacts haven't signed up for the newsletter, will MailChimp not send out the mail to these people?
A bit confused about how this permission-based system works. It looks like you can just import the contacts from gmail account or whatever, but these people haven't opted in...
I read on MailChimp help that you need to send the double-opt in form through your personal email address, and then they'll be added to the list (ideally). I would say not many people will go through the effort of filling in the opt-in form, so I'd rather skip that. All my contacts have been gathered over time, through personal contact or email introductions via via, so it's a clean list...

Lovely Video clip! Sorry for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you researched - Donndrew Uncomplex Dominion (do a search on google)? It is a good one of a kind product for discovering how to generate free subscribers and make money minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my close friend Aubrey got great success with it.
