- It's a new year, and new features have come out to Mailchimp for 2017. I'm going to be walking you through how to create, edit, and send a Mailchimp campaign from start to finish, step by step, so you can see exactly how I send out campaigns.
This guide is intended for beginners who are just getting their feet wet with email marketing using Mailchimp, and is in no way intended to be a complete guide.

Finally, I found a great video. May i know how to avoid the Gmail Promotions Tab and Get in Primary Tab, because normally Abandoned Cart Recovery Email will go to Promotions , and people won't open it .

One thing I would like to know is how can I merge the customers list from shopify to mailchimp.

Great Thanks!. How does one schedule the sends. I can only see one send option per campaign. If this cannot be automated, then how can one just select from the same list and resend again without creating a whole new campaign. ( ie we run events and like to send a couple of invites per event)

This video was very helpful. Thanks. My one question is this. I signed up for Mail Chimp a couple of years ago and never did anything with it. Now, I have made the plunge, but noticed where it said company I made an error. Where can I go to correct that mistake?
I want my email campaign to qualify the recipients based on their clicks and survey participation. Then automatically follow up with them. I want 2 or 3 interactions and engagements. Now I manually go and see who’s opened and clicked. And perhaps if I have time which I often don’t I’ll follow up with them.
AutoPilot does this automatically.
But it not easy to set up and their customer service is limited.
I’ve been using Mailchimp on numerous campaigns but I want it do what AutoPilot does since I’m already invested in Mailchimp.

you know how to edit the info: "ad us on your address book" ? If there is info thats not you at all? And also - if its possible to remove the address of company (not always ok to public it)?

Thanks for the video. How can the campaign be sent using the BCC field? I don't want to the recipients to see everyone's email addresses.
John, by default the people sent this email will not be able to see other recipients. To my knowledge there is no way to even enable a CC feature, it's BCC by default.
Can we send Videos in the email body? or is it too big?.... Better to upload the video from my laptop file or just put the youtube video link? ... do they charge to send emails with videos? ... can you choose when to send E-mail blast out? or is it always "send now"? ... if we can choose to send out emails later, how many Email campaigns can we schedule to send? .. can we upload and save different prospect lists in mailchimp (different groups to send to)? ... can we save the different templates for future use? .. can we auto-populate the emails with the first name of the prospect? ... does it track how many views my video got from sending in these emails?

1. If I pay for the mail chimp service (instead of the free version) will my emails go directly in the inbox or only to the promotions page (like in gmail)?
2. Can i replace the mail chimp logo with my own logo if I upgrade to the paid version?

Hi there! Glad the video helped.
If you pay Mailchimp, there is no way to direct the emails inside the main inbox of Gmail, as that feature is controlled by Gmail.
Additionally, you can remove the badge and replace that section with your own logo. See: kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/billing/add-or-remove-monkeyrewards for more details.

Hello, I have GoDaddy for my website and they offer the marketing feature to create a Mailing list.. would that suffice or would you recommend going with MailChimp instead? I sign up for MailChimp yesterday but didn't realize GoDaddy had those features as well.
I would rather use literally ANY service rather that one built in-house by GoDaddy, but that is a personal preference.
@@Wiyre So MailChimp sounds like a winner then huh..Any reason why you wouldn't use the GoDaddy.. just curious. I just got off the phone with them and of course they said I should used them and have it all under one roof... thanks for responding so quickly
TheProcess Life being very blunt here, pardon my acrimony: GoDaddy tries to upsell you at every opportunity. Every feature that you use, or will use, if it doesn’t cost money now, it will cost money in the future. They are notorious for this. I could go on and on and on about them, but most of my major pain points are covered here: karveldigital.com/why-i-dont-use-godaddy-you-shouldnt-either/
In the end, it’s up to you as to who you want to use, but if you were my client I would highly highly advise “anyone but” GoDaddy in particular. For any product feature

You'll need to contact Mailchimp to determine account closures.
