another easy way is to print directly on to canvas paper and then create a frame to fit the size you want. there are steps online on how to print directly on to canvas paper and also places to get canvas paper to really give it the true canvas look

A better way would be to MOD PODGE the canvas then apply the picture dace down. Then after 24 hours with a damp cloth rub off the paper which will leave just the ink
so basically like a temporary tattoo?

Hey Kipkay! this is a cool idea. However, can you figure a way to make the ink transfer to the canvas? kinda like how they do it with a "photo printed on wood"
I SAW SOMEONE PUT GLUE OR HODGEPG ONTO A CANVES AND LEFT FOR 24HRS AND THEN JUST RUBBED THE PAPER AWAY LEAVING THE PRINT ON THE CANVES

These aren't canvas prints...they're home inkjet prints glued to a canvas...I'm surprised the paper didn't bubble from the wet glue.

This is fun to experiment with. You should try it. I've done this for a while to create art prints. HOWEVER it's advisable to not use thick glossy paper for this as it tends to bubble more. Also, when doing large canvas, you should place a THIN layer of glue on cancas & place a book or something heavy in center to make sure it doesn't bubble.

Mod Podge makes photo transfer liquid so you can put your print directly onto the canvas.

you can print on wood as well.... you will need some glue, wood and some normal paper. check it out sometime. maybe a fun project to do?

Tux has passed away, but his other cat, Domino, is still helping him with his projects.
Bit of a waste of canvas frames really as you add the texture after. It would be cheaper just to use normal wooden frames.
