Wow! So the legends are trueee..Indian music is complicated!!! 😃🧐
Thank you for simplifying it..!!! ❤🇮🇳😍
Perfect explanation! Being a guitarist myself, I was able to figure some of this stuff out for myself but this is more fascinating and it really cements my understanding and love of Carnatic music.
I FRICKIMG KNEW IT WAS PRI. omg. I've been following her for quite some time and I absolutely adore her voice and music. It's so cool that she's in this !
Who?

Come on Dantalian, just don't say PRI and end it. Give us the name, link, something more so that we can FREAKING KNOW HER TOO.... Please!!!

Please listen to Porumai by PRI AKHIL. shes the voice in this video!

The Indian Classical sounds much more melodies as how notes travels smoothly between each other. 😊

wow
I need 1hr version of this
OMG. I dont know anything about music and i still be able to understand
You are singing Do at the wrong note position, it should be on C note and you are singing it on bf (Do = C). The western music system is different than Indian music system which Sa can be placed on any chosen note (not fixed position)
i guess you are wrong , gamakas are variation/ harkate of singing which you can sing in western too. why indian music is different because in western music in a octave there are are usually 8 notes( do,re,me,fa,so,la,ti,do) but in indian there are 13 ( sa, re, re(komal), ga, ga(komal), maa, maa (teevra), paaa, dhaa, dhaa(komal), ni , ni (komal), saa)
In Carnatic music there are 7 basic notes in an octave or 12 notes that include flat and sharp variants of five of the original seven.
Aw I watched it twice
Nice.
❤
That's Carnatic music more in the video. Indian Classical can be classified in two categories: Hindustani and Carnatic.
Its notJust carnatic, itsIndian. DontGetYourEgoLongBymakingYourselfExcluded, youDontKnowWhatRealExclusionWillDoToYou.
❤❤
Very nice
is insane
I like her voice
Who is she?
Western music: going up the stairs
Indian classical music: falling down the stairs
Long version pleaaasee
This is Carnatic of Indian Classical.
Somebody get this woman an Aadhaar card
wow
Full video?
Western music did not originate in North America, so the beginning surprised me a bit. The rest of your video is very informative!
Western just copy Indian basic notes😂😂.
Spoken by the truly ignorant.
Yuuuuuung leannnnnnn
North Indian Classical Indian music too
Vox guru effect
Wowwwwww❤❤❤❤❤
The lower Sa is a bit lower than it should be.
Which you sang is Carnatic
Most classical song is from bengal and if I right indian classical music first starts from Bengal
😲
More 😢
Sorry for breathing the same air as you. 🙏🏽
There is no Indian Classical Music. Its either North Indian (Hindusthani) or South Indian (Carnatic) Classical music. These are two distinctly different traditions with their own nuances.
You could say the same about German classical music versus French and Italian--a lot of distinct traditions and styles, where you lose a lot by lumping them together into just generalized "Western music." On the other hand, there's tons of clear relation and cross-pollination throughout history, which I figure must be true between the Hindustani and Carnatic traditions too (it's not like no one travelled or heard each other's music, and they share large amounts of theoretical terminology and ideas).
Western music: we like simplicity
Indians: WA A Å Ã Ā Â Ä Á Ą Æ
Mmym
misconception... western music doesn't follow the staircase 😑
_സംഗതി_ എന്നാല് ഇതല്ലേ..?
Ada myre
Athe
Yup
It's Re not Ri
no, in hindustani it is re, in carnatic it is strictly ri
@@cziffrathegreat666 haven't heard before thank you for letting me know
This video is about 20 seconds too long on western music.
thank god you didn't call it south asian music , thanks brown coolie
As a Pakistani, when I heard Indian music, I considered subcontinent in my mind since India and Pakistan have alot of cultural and linguistic similarities.
@@AbdulHadiu there is nothing called Pakistani cultural u have indian punjabi gujrati( for u sidhi) and rajasthani and kasmiri culture just mixed with muslim culture (turki iran afghan arab).
U people still practices hindu rituals like goodh baraii and etc . But u don't want to be called hindu/indian 😅 and still rejects that ur ancestors were hindu😢. At least learn about Hinduism and india 😊
@@AbdulHadiu even Pakistani are genetically indian same for Afghani. We have same languages like punjabi etc.
