The housing figure you listed is very over-inflated. Camps Bay is the equivalent of Malibu or Santa Monica in Los Angeles. It's the most expensive place to rent (not own but rent). In all the other categories you go the opposite direction and list the cheapest options (for tourists who don't know the language[s]). There are much cheaper (and more central) Suburbs besides Camps Bay. All the other numbers are about right, and reflect a tourist who is not being extravagant. If you're gonna live in Camps Bay why not splurge in all the other categories too.
@@dofdestiny10 De Waterkant, Green point, Sea point, CBD (but you have to know the safe areas), Rondebosch, Claremont, Gardens. All much cheaper than Camps Bay. And if you have the money for Camps Bay, then i think the V&A Waterfront is better value for your money.
