I'm so glad to see you back!! One neat trick that I learned about eye shaped is that the arch of the top lid will peak where the iris and pupil sits. This is because the actual lens over the iris points outward from the rest of the eye!

I feel the same way about eyelashes! They just make things look goofy, I can't get them right 🤷🏽♀️ I also usually just do the eyeliner swoop instead, it just works so much better for stylized stuff, and I think that's okay. Also, I have been rewatching your old videos lately, they've been helping to keep me company during my own chronic health stuff, and I'll echo everyone else here in saying that it's so nice to see you back, and we'll be here whenever you feel up to posting, and your health and happiness comes first, so please don't worry about us or overstretch yourself 💜
You can definitely hear the sadness and pain in her voice yet I'm still so thankful and happy she's back and she's okay even if she's not doing the best I'm still grateful she's here at all

tip for eyelashes!!! they aren't as tall in the middle as they are on the sides (they're really not that tall anywhere cuz naturally they kind of lay down) but yeah and almost always draw to together in sets of 2. study the eyelashes and how they lay together and you'll find a stylized way while also making them look real👍🏼 hope this helped

Tip on the eyelashes: instead of going ‘straight’ up, curve them through the eye (the shadow part you made at the top) and then flick them up. ❤ maybe you’ll like that better.

I'm so glad Waffles is back! 😊 One way that I think is good for drawing eyelashes is to kind of draw them in sort of clumps of different sizes, and spreading them out differently.

when I used to be a traditional artist, Rin's sketcbook is my main inspo so I tend to sketch like how she sketches and it also inspired me to draw more if I watch her videos. Now I'm a digital artist, I don't really sketch that much but I still watch her vids in the background bc for some reason it helps with the creative juices, and push me more to finish an illustration.
Also, she's the reason why I made an pinterest acc. Best decision of my drawing career lmao
