- It's Finally here, VFC have done it, This is the VFC AK74M GBBR Airsoft Toy Unboxing Video. After so long waiting for a decent AK Airsoft GBBR outside of Tokyo Marui VFC have answered the call. This features 1:1 Build externally with full steel construction, polymer Handguard, grip and stock etc... So lets not waste any time and jump in.
*** Small Correction, in this Unboxing video I state that you can change the travel of the bolt carrier. This is still true but the Airsoft Toy comes in its long stroke setup, the polymer insert is to reduce the travel of the bolt carrier for the winter months. The VFC AK74M GBBR features a 22mm diameter piston head, giving the user a strong and reliable recoil impulse. Also in this video I was mistaken there is no NPAS inside, instead there is a metal back piece to the rocket valve giving a smoother flow of gas for its incredible out of the box accuracy. ***

Hi there, I have been incredibly lucky with this one. It's a huge thanks to Action Airsoft for shipping fast before the typhoon hit and parcelforce for speedy delivery and great customer service.
They shrink wrap it while it's waiting to be boxed up, it then protects the surface from scratches. As a long time VFC fan I'm excited to see if this lives up to the legendary AK lines of old!

can't wait to get mine and compare it with my TM AKM, which I bought for a similar price as this one, and the VFC is full steel! early feedback seems quite good, just need to lube the mag valves and replica's internals. excited to see how it will fare in the long run. at the very least, they avoided how the GHK AK V3 got released lol
I'm not an AK fan, but I think you've just shown me a must have. I still have a few HKs to get yat.

I think the shrinkwrap is to allow it to be inspected if need be while helping to avoid scratches to the exterior still.
Htis airsoft just did an overview video of this for uk users too . Btw there is no npas from the factory and the spare buffer is to short stroke it . Long stroke is the set up as shipped

There’s zero reason to compare a WE or GHK to the vfc or tm ak, they are so far behind that there is zero reason to buy a WE or GHK unless you want to experience pain

Hi there, yes, I preordered it as soon as it appeared on Action Airsofts website. There have been a lot of delays for many due to the typhoon that hit Taiwan the other day, I guess I am one of the lucky ones who had theirs sent before the typhoon hit.
I keep seeing these videos and I lament that mine is still stuck in customs. It's been two weeks waiting to be cleared!

Hi there, so far, I love the realism, accuracy, and recoil impulse more than the TM. The TM is more over engineered than the vfc and less gas efficient so far.

Hi there, so far, the vfc Ak74 gbbr is great. The paint is decent and holds up to a lot of abuse before scratching. Being made of steel it's very rigid with very little play.

Does this have a valve knocker lock?
does it defo have an NPAS? some guys whos picked it up says it does and other says it doesn't seems strange that people have both said yes and no
Hi there, I did put some corrections in the description for the video. Sadly, what was presumably an npas is not, vfc have placed a small metal piece at the back of the rocket valve where there metal grub screw would be. During my excitement of unboxing at first glance, it looked very much like there was, but sadly no. I do have a vfc npas from Clutch Precision, which I am currently testing to see if it fits. If so, I will update you in the full review. Once again, sorry for the confusion.
Wrap presumably protects all that lovely steel from rust while it's at sea etc.. You didn't mention the KWA version, any good since I can't find or afford this? Cheers.
The KWA GBBR or the Recoil AEG? The AEG is decent enough as its based on the TM Recoil, avoid the GBBR, parts are hard to come by as are mags and its not that great to start with. Having owned nearly every make of AK out there both GBBR and AEG, if you want a solid GBBR that just works get the TM, if you want something a little more realistic this looks like a decent bet but I would wait till any kinks become apparent. Though recent VFCs have generally been excellent
@@SuperEvilMonkee It's just to fill a gap in my collection and do a bit of plinking. I've been collecting GBBR's for over 15 years and have about a 100, a few AEG's just as gap fillers but prices have gone way up and income has dropped so I only want something to fool around with at my own range and like I said fill a gap. I've seen the KWA's of this exact model gong new for around £440. Cheers.
Hi there, I have not owned the kwa Ak gbbr at this time. Maybe in the future, I can fix that, but right now, my focus is on the vfc Ak, and so far, I'm impressed.
The KWA is an awful design and the receiver is made of cast aluminum, not stamped steel unlike VFC or GHK
@@machonacho95 Ah well, I've taken a chance on one anyway, I love working on guns and have a couple of steel AK receivers lying around from other builds that I might be able to convert.

I have a GHK Aks74u that does not sound as good as your VFC, I just wanted to compare the two, as I’m thinking of flogging the GHK and getting the VFC. Just the sound of the bolt and the braided hammer spring is the icing on the cake!!🎂

Yo how is the grouping?
Hi there, so far, it seems a tight group. The fps is very consistent, and the grouping size with 1.2k rounds and counting is 3.6" at 15m with 0.25g bbs. This should tighten more as the bucking settles in over the next 2k rounds.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Thanks man, i had 2022 GHK AK74M, already shoots about 5k round, using 0.30. About maximum range it's about 50 meters beyond that it drops down, do you think it's good for gbbr? yes i can hit target at 44 meters. since GBBR were shaking i know it wouldn't be the same as AEG in terms of range tuning and grouping
Hi im new in Airsoft and i want to get my first gbb rifle but i dont know what gun to choose between tm mp7 gbb or tm mws mk18 can someone help
Hi there, the MWS platform is a great starting place and the MK18 is awesome. the first thing to ask yourself is what type of airsoft do you play?. If your into CQB then the short MP7 is a good option. if you vary and play more intermediate sized arenas then go the mk18. Which ever you choose they are both good options.

Welp. Gonna have to be me, then. There's no such thing as a AK74MN. That's GHK's marketing bullshit. The sidemount from the N and the folding mechanism of the S, are both included as a given with the M.
There is only one AK model that has an MN suffix, and that's the AKMN. If you remove either the sidemount or the folding stock from an AK74M, it ceases to be an AK74M.
Please get this right in the future. I f*cking abhor this misinformation.

Hi there, for clarification, M stands for modernised ( i.e., stamped receiver). The N is the designation for the rail on the side, that is why when you see an AKM, there is no rail. When it does, they add the N to it. As this is a Russian designation and AKs in general have a huge amount of variation letters and numbers that don't nessaseraly match their english word counterpart, you can imagine how difficult it is.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk The AK-74M “Modernization” already comes standard with a sidefolding stock, and a siderail. “AK-74MN” is a made up denotation by GHK, and more absurd is AKS-74MN from LCT and some other companies. AK-100 series are their own but ultimately based off the 74M, but we don’t call them “AK-103MN”. AK-74Ms ALWAYS had siderails. Calling it AK-74M (the correct term) doesn’t mean the siderail disappears
