    So awesome . I love pounding the yam and putting drops of it here and there with cow leg and kpomo and enough yellow pepper .

    Wow. Nice. IMO though I don't use achi as first alternate because it tends to give a slippery feel, so I prefer ofo as thickener or even boil ede eko in the soup. I actuality salivated just looking at the soup.

    Sorry to say the truth been your fan for a long time I always refer people to you but I don't like watching cos you don't smile at all.       Itakpe Juliet I’m not sure about the Semo paste however the cocoyam powder should work. Try it out using a little quantity first

      Yam is the best thickener. Any other thickener doesn’t give it the same taste

      You can used Achi but Achi is used in cooking different types of soup. But Achi will thicken it too but different taste.

      You can used cocoyam but it won't taste the same. With cocoyam that's ofe onugbu.

      @ Miracle- the dried ogiri is smoked and has a different flavour but you can also use the wet one. Hope this helps.
