Dohc zc install update

i love the look of the zc, its sort of innocent in a way with 130 hp, dohc, no vtec but was still a little sporty engine, simple things are awesome

Yeah I agree. Got a UK crx with a d16a9 which is the same engine. Car weighs under 2000 lbs from the factory and it pulls pretty well. Will probably raise the compression a little with a head skim in the future and do full bolt ons. Should be decent enough.

Here brother i got a 91 with a d16a1 zc but the ting with 2 cables that is under the distributor at the other cam its not conected you got any idea were tha goes and what is for? Tanks you will help me alot if you could encerd my quiestion.

This is the exhaust camshaft position sensor, the wires from it go to the brain. The brain and braid should be from d16a9.

You don’t have to connect this sensor; the engine will run without it.

Hey I'm building a 90 crx si and have the dohc zc16 as well and for some reason the crx si driver side axle I bought for my car is about a quarter inch too short if you know anything please let me know
