This is the first time im watching a latina marrying a chinese here on youtube, usually most of them from africa and the US..she's beautiful, wish her the best China can offer 🙏
Lovely girl, I'm sorry to tell you sorry, I don't agree with you, I am a Chinese designer, I think you are very beautiful and beautiful, there is no comparison of skin color in China, people care more about the beauty of the soul, I think you are a girl with a beautiful heart and appearance, I will bless you forever, I hope you live a happy life in China!❤❤🎉🎉
I have to disagree, Chinese females will tell you they prefer light complexion. I feel males are more open and willing to date darker skin women. To be honest
@@dy-no-mitedragon7759I agree with you. My wife cares about keeping a fair skin. I told her I don’t mind darker skin. She avoids going to the beach with me.
@@dy-no-mitedragon7759 You're confused. Chinese females want to have lighter color skin as their own personal appearance, that has nothing to do with anything else.
What China are you from? Skin colour although not directly focused on, is indirectly implied and involved in Chinese culture prejudices. At the extreme, I had a friend of my mom tell me over a dinner in Shijiazhuang in front of 12 people that I should divorce my white wife and she will find me a nice Chinese girl replacement. The scary thing is there is no malicious intentions on her part except she believes in racial purity and that my wellbeing is better served by Chinese girls. In the South including all the South East Asian overseas Chinese, majority of them think I’m wrong to not marry a Chinese girl. I’m with you that skin colour and race doesn’t matter but there is no way to overturn cultural perceptions. This will take thousands more years.
The world is changing rapidly and has become smaller. Technology is also bring us closer. The older generation may have more bias. Of course, one has to travel widely, read widely to see the world beyond their oyster shell. One has to go beyond skin deep to truly appreciate the character and personality of an individual and that is more important.
Que Buena entrevista, me alegra de saber que hay Latinos que se interesan a la cultura China. Yo vivi en Guatemala quando era nino en los anos 70, mi espanol ya no es tan bueno porque no lo ablo mucho aqui end Canada.
When I read that her mum-in-law took the rice away, I immediately understood why she did it, because my mum-in-law is also from China. They think it is rude to stuff you with rice because then you have no appetite left for the dishes. When I first ate at my then girlfriend's home for the first time, they didn't even serve me rice. When I had eaten so many dishes, she would then ask: "do you want any rice?" I was shocked because rice is the first thing you serve in Singapore where I come from. Anyway, I was on full glutton mode that day.
My dad's side of the family (Chinese) lived in Peru for many years and that side is more Latin-American than Chinese...LOL. They speak English, Spanish and Chinese though Spanish is the primary. Celia's story may seem unusual but it's out there.
@Brave And Beyond, Thanks for sharing this story online with everyone. Thanks a lot. As one can see, Celia is a very intelligent and rational person, she possesses the respect for different languages and cultures, and an open mind for learning things that she was not familiar with previously. These are the traits quite different from what one might find among people from other places, where people speak only American English. One would bet that her life and career in China will continue to get better and better, because she has all that required of and helpful for her success in life and career in China and other places. She is blessed in many ways, most of all -- being intelligent, rational, respectful and caring. This is a very good story to share with everyone. Thanks again.
When my husband was transferred on overseas job posting by his company, we moved the family overseas every three years without knowing their local language.
To speak proper Spanish is actually not so easy, the grammar is kind of complicated, the good news is you can speak Spanish with plenty of grammatical mistakes and yet the Latin Americans will understand what you are saying. If you are a bachelor you need to be aware that Latin American women have the skill to "coil round" any man they like, you won't be able to escape from them!
Interesting interview. Probably Celia is the first Guatemalan to marry into China. Is Celia a native american ? Are guatemalans mostly native americans such as Mayans ? Can Celia speak the local native language such as Mayan ?
Among Chinese, people who consume extreme amount of rice which literally translated to 饭桶 which is a rice container but unflatteringly means a fool. There're certain things in Chinese culture that the non-Chinese need to know for instance never give a clock as a present to a Chinese which means you're now at his funeral. The worst is someone bringing books to a gambler when he's gambling.🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
Yes, she is right. With the development of internationalization in China, the demand for Spanish, Russian, German, French and Arabic is growing. However, in China, English is the main language from primary school to university. It is difficult to find Spanish teachers here. This is why she can teach in the best university in China. In my city, there are almost no places and teachers who can teach Spanish. I can only find some content on the Internet to learn by myself.
For reasons I don't know, I watch this video to the end despite the fact that I don't understand any one thing spoken here. Could it be the voice of the lady, I don't know. Curiosity is strange. Anyway, thanks for the video.
There are many Latinas who are absolutely stunning! Chinese homegirls - not even close!!! Look at Natti Natasha the singer on UA-cam!!! Which homegirl in China can even compete??!!!
This is not a short interview. I can't imagine how strained her neck must have felt having to look up at you the whole time. Maybe consider doing an interview sitting down next time 😊
Money shouldn't be the main focus. For Celia, being uplifted from homeland to live, work and start a family is a great achievement and milestone in life. Hope she cherishes your family and career in China. Do strive for a meaningful, fulfilling, happy and healthy family life as well as a career (in education) in China. Good Luck!
chinese beauty standard do prefer fair skin.. but not blond hair..blue green grey eyes sort like european.. but still asian dark hair black or brown eyes.
Most Chinese indeed regard fair skin as pretty but that's just superficial. The longer one watches the more beautiful this lady is. Her body language is very Asian and she is very famine that will last longer than a first glance.
Her Chinese husband is a very lucky man! She's a beautiful and smart lady!
Yeah! My regards, brother!
And vice versa.
she is a very beautiful and determined individual with a great attitude and would succeed anywhere she goes
As a 40s Chinese, You are confidence, positive; those make you beautiful.
That girl is a keeper, wish her happy life in China 👌
I hope you enjoy your life in China and the great people, great food and the culture !
My regards, brother!
Love the interview questions, very though provoking. Love the responses from her. Such intelligence and wisdom from someone so young.
I can understand why Sam fell in love with her.
A positive, courageous and very articulate lady.
I mean which man wouldn't 😅😊

South America women’s are nice, humble and easy going people, right choices for Asians. I love South America people
Not all of them. Maybe those are in China are good ones.
Not really the women and the men they have so much drama sorry to say this
Not all them are nice

Hi, bro! Search "Chapina en China" and watch her videos! :)
Brave girl brave Chinese man! ♥♥♥

I have accepted since 1978 that Spanish is best spoken by Women.

She looks European
And Mexicans look European too similar to Spanish
Brown skin is beautiful.

Both of u should hv sat somewhere dude, u are tall for her, her neck must be hurting.😅
Putonghua, Chinese is a written language.
The interview should be conducted sitting down, the height disparity makes it very uncomfortable for her and even for the viewer to watch
确实
I just think their is a shortage of women in China because of the one child rule . Families only kept boys for many years
Oh!
Where’s the husband??!!
Hi! You can check her UA-cam Channel "Chapina en China" :)
You are indeed very beautiful.

Right now, Chinos have mucho dinero, brown girls and white girls like them very much
