The control freak in me definitely wants to try thickened dye solution now. I loved how there was the faint white streaks on that one. Also impressed that the wash out seemed faster to get to mostly clear water which I would think would be better for municipal waste water concerns.
Thank you so much you appreciate this video. Based on my experience the wash out is easier when you cure the shirt longer than 24hrs, maybe because I'm in a tropical country.
Thanks so much for this video. I like the thickened dyed shirt so much more. Now I want to always use thickened water, when I start! It's there ever a time when you'd want to use regular water? Seems I would always want this level of control whenever doing liquid dyeing. Whenever I start, I think I'll tend to do more ice dyeing, but would definitely want to do some liquid dyeing. Thanks again!!! Keep up the great work!!! 🥰
You're welcome! Since i discovered the thickened dye , I used it since then. You can use the normal water if you want the effects of the outcome to be random. Thank you!😊❤️
Meo i am continuing to post about you and your talent. i have been saying check out Meo Faustino. should i post the name of your site instead. i dont know the name of your site. please tell me what it is
So interesting how the two shirts turned out completely differently in color. Any tips on knowing when I might want to thicken (or not) to achieve the color desired?
If you want a random outcome, better to not thickened your dye so that you will achieve a natural flow of dyes on the fabric.. But if you want a precise outcome for your desisgn.. you should thickened your dye.. Thickened dye is recommended on stitch tie dye for the black outline of your subject.
@@gabriellahsdancingheart8808 just lil help to answer. Stitch tie dye is an effect like stitch in your tie dye. Example: if you do spiral td, you full dye in the front. But the back side, you just leave it blank but give tiny black line dye on the border each color from the front🙏
If I used a tip that was that thin, I'd have carpal tunnel syndrome in a month. I'm stunned that you got the thickened dye to go through the shirt. It must be a really thin shirt.
My thickened dye is not so thick, just enough thickness to control the bleeding. I also open up those pleats and apply some dye to lessen the white areas.. i didn't include in the video because it's very time consuming..
They make steel needle tips in different sizes. I purchased a set of bottles from an electrical supply company that came with different tips you could switch depending on the flow you prefer.
The normal dye results beautiful
hmmm🤔.. Yeah maybe because it's more natural? that's what you think?
