How is that monitored? Suppose someone uses their platform to insight violence. Not everyone with a platform and a voice knows what to do and say in every scenario. We have to be strategic in identifying those we trust to speak on our behalf

He is right, more celebs should be vocal regarding this injustice, and if they were actively protesting, he could more effectively do his job of echoing our sentiments. At this point, you shouldn’t tell somebody how to protest, but you should tell somebody to stop when they’re not really protesting, and that they should be protesting in some way if you care for this to end.

Jay Z actually made the call to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, and asked him to transfer the case from old white "3rd degree murder" Mike Freeman, to the more representative of all US citizen, Keith Ellison. Having a person of color in charge gives our community a sense of fairness, but Jay Z should get props for getting this done.

The majority of protestors are young people and young people listen to celebrities, more than politicians or a Reverend because they have a bigger platform for their age group. That's just the way it is. Don't judge them for that. Celebrities need to use their platform to support these young protesters. They are out here battling for justice.
