Sorry for such a great loss and our deepest condolences to you and your family. My mom is 93 and we are fortunate that we have a two lady that take turns and stays with her. When I had seen your dad in your videos it would bring back memories of my dad before he passed. Again Sorry for your loss.

Thanks for this closing chapter Steve. It is a hard one to share, I know.
So many times seniors rally for a while after an acute illness.
That last video of your dad on the tractor is one I will never forget.
Please keep sharing your farming story when you can. we really like to follow what’s happening.
    Take care,

Hey Steve, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. He reminded me of my grandpa. I miss him every day. I actually still have the first adjustable wrench that Grandpa gave me when I was a kid, it lives in the tool box on my Allis. Sort of feels like he's riding with me when I'm running it. Thank you for making the videos with him and for sharing them with us. Hope you have a good one, Steve, thank you again

So sorry for the loss to you and your family. You’re 100% correct about the people from hospice, they were a tremendous help with my grandfather. Coincidentally his funeral was the same day as your Dads, he would’ve been 99 last week. Hang in there and all the best from the east side of the state, Mike

Thanks so much, Steve, for making this video for us. It gives us closure. I'm sure it was challenging holding it together as you related the events regarding your Dad. I always enjoyed seeing him in a video and listening to his recollections and stories and I will miss him. I think you can count yourself as fortunate to have had him as long as you did - I lost my dad 34 years ago, when he was only 60 years old and have always wondered what it would have been like to have had him all this time. He would have been in his mid 90's now. It's so nice that you captured the video of him that you will always have and be able to treasure. Be sure to document all the stories he told you, videoed or not, for the future members of your family. You have my deepest sympathy at this time of your loss, but I know you will do what he would have wanted, and that is to carry on. I'll quote Dr Suess (not a verbatum quote, but it gets the idea across) - Don't be sad that it's over, but be happy that it (him being in your life) happened.

Yes we have been so blessed to have him in our lives. It’s been a very lonely world for me with him gone, we have gotten 3 of his old tractors up and running again and that makes me feel closer and I’m sure he would be proud. I’m so sorry you lost your dad at a young age, it looks like you have made him proud too. Thanks for the kind words and thought.

@@AnglesideFarm If there are farms in Heaven, I know both our dads are there. (Mine is probably telling God how to get things done! 🤣🤣🤣🤣) But I'm sure they're both smiling down on us. Glad you got some of your Dad's tractors going. He would certainly have approved of that! A tribute to a life well-lived.
