Exploring the magical Tsodilo Hills in Botswana

- On Day 592 I was meant to cross the border from Botswana to Namibia, but when a local tipped my off on a sacred place, Tsodilo Hills, in the Kalahari desert, I changed my plans. I decided to stay another day in Botswana and exchange the motorcycle with some hiking boots - and it ended up being one of the most amazing experiences!
Tsodilo Hills is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and known as the louvre of the desert because of its extreme amount of rock art. Read more about it on UNESCO's official website: whc.unesco.org...

A seriously good rock-climbing effort there! 🤗 And wow, to see what old culture there basically still is alive! 🤗² And holy moly, these drone shots of African landscapes are almost guaranteed to give me goosebumps! 🤗³
…and just like when Itchy Boots was in Africa last year, I end up sitting here practising the clicks. I have become pretty good with pronouncing the name !Xhosa, the tribe where Noraly stayed in South Africa. I just can't get the click in !Kung spoken with the U after the click audible! **AAAAARGH!!1!** 💥🤯😵💫🥳🤣🤣🤣

Hi Henriette I love this latest video and its interesting to have a personally guided tour from a local knowledgeable guide. The explanations piqued my interest as well as the rock climbing. I recent completed my motorcycle licence am am looking forward to adventuring as well!
