- Debuting in 1995, Citynet 27 was the original channel that occupied the DWDB-TV station which later became home to EMC, QTV, GMA News TV, and now GTV. It was GMA's version of ABS-CBN's Studio 23 in that they relegated all of their foreign content on that channel as they focused on purely domestic programming in the mid-90s.
Unfortunately, the channel didn't work out well financially for GMA, forcing them to discontinue it in 1999 as they moved to a different direction. - Розваги

Sometime in 1999, Citynet 27 was entirely superseded by Channel V.
This is the rarest footage of Citynet 27(a predecessor of GTV) since some footage are partially found by several uploaders including a basketball game by AP Archive and a EDSA Documentary 😊😊

Neither one has been found yet.
The first one was from its launch year, while the second was from probably the year before Channel [V] took over in full.

Sa PLDT "Call of the Philippines" TVC, hindi na nila ginamit ang magandang slogan na "Keeping you in touch.".
This was the time PLDT rebranded prior to their anniversary year.

No connections. Doubt the channels saved any of these on their archives. Just super lucky that 1) some people recorded stuff, 2) managed to not discard them for decades, and 3) was able to get in touch with them.
I believe that Citynet bumpers were shown around early November 1997 (shown at 1:18) because Matt Lauer entered NBC's Today Show in January 1997 with Katie Couric as co-host (seen at 3:21)
7:07 NBC Nightly News will first aired in the Philippines though CityNet 27 (now GTV) as international news broadcast

Before Solar, we have Citynet where there's a lot of US Contents aired on a Philippine TV mostly from NBC

It was already Channel [V] Philippines all-day during my kiddie days (way aware in the 2000, born in '94) until it closed down.
I Remember Watching NBC News Programs On PH TV
CityNet 27 was a de facto NBC affiliate for the Philippines until Channel V took over as the de facto primary affiliate in 1999, although some of the network’s programs moved to Studio 23, which aired programs from NBC and Fox.
Looking at the part (around 7:28 or 7:29) of Atty. Michael Gurfinkel and his Immigration Corner show then though.
He later would went on to host Citizen Pinoy on TFC/ANC by the next century which would relatively follow the same genre as his former Citynet program.
The reception was a little fuzzy in Angeles City, Pampanga while they were on the air in the 90s. Atty. Gurfinkel looks young... hahahaha. I didn't show he had his own show on this channel before TFC's Citizen Pinoy.
The channel that became Entertainment Music Channel (EMC) with collaboration with Channel V to compete Studio 23 and its rights to air MTV Asia. Also the channel for the coverage of 1996 NBA Finals between Bulls & Sonics.
Channel V was used to be aired most of programs in morning & afternoon except in around Dec 2000 & Jan 2001, all Music Channel programmings were moved to morning for coverage of Erap's Impeachment Trial in the afternoon.

What other TV station aired the Law & Order franchise? I believe it was RPN 9. The main L&O series, the SVU series, and the Criminal Intent series. That channel aired three of them. Citynet only aired the main one.
