And how do you go about choosing the group of barrels? I just cracked a Blanton's store pick dumped 12-28-20. Fantastic!
I really appreciate this interview and a look into a master distillers mind. My question is that it’s said that a mash bill will make up 25% of the flavor and the rest is up to the barrel. Of that 25%, what percentage would you allocate to the yeast? Does BT use proprietary yeasts?

I love a mash bill of 60% corn, 24% malted barley and 16% malted rye. I like the nose and taste notes of the malted rye vs the unmalted rye

mash bill 1 is my favorite. i really love eh taylor and eagle rare but ill drink buffalo trace if the other two are unavailable
