  • Join Lisa, Joseph, and Deb as they illuminate the mysterious corners of the unconscious by interpreting your dreams, illustrated.
They analyze the dream of a 40-year-old woman who is a a full-time mom. She possesses a special elixir for men with a titillating method of delivery that gives her pause:
“I possess some kind of potent male elixir for health. It is a sticky, clear syrup made from pine needles. I’m not sure what to do with it. I am being interviewed, or it is the first day of a new job, a job I’m not sure I want, but because I have this elixir, I have applied and am right for it.
My new boss, a woman, is showing me around. She is not the kind of woman I connect with, maybe a career woman in a cheap suit or sportswear running a place for men, like a gym or male health center. I don’t think my boss knows I have this elixir. I’m waiting until she’s done showing me around to present it. I’m pretending to be interested, but I know I just want to present the elixir and be done with it. I’m not interested in this place. I’m not sure how to use the elixir or really anything about it.
As soon as I had the opportunity to start the job, I started asking questions about my new boss: Is it safe? What should I say about it? I don’t want to make false claims. I possess this elixir, kind of reluctantly. I have a vague sense that it may need to be administered through oral sex. I don’t want to do that to all the men here and feel dread about it. I think of the possibility of catching a disease if I have to perform oral sex on that many men. I hope there is another way to take it and that I can just offer it and allow the men to administer the elixir to themselves if they want. I don’t want to be part of it. There’s a sense that I’d rather not have to be involved in all this, but it’s important and my duty as possessor of this elixir.”

The dream mirrors how people use their intuition to discern the intuitions and impulses of others, not their own.

Did you know that the 1st Emperor of China was rather 'fond' of being gifted wine made from Pine Pollen because it was High in testosterone
Spruce trees being Evergreens were revered there with 'holding' certain "powers" towards Eternity
Fun fact: his court Alchemists made him "mad" (as a hatter) by prescribing Mercury towards his vain attempt for Everlasting life

I love to know if I can send you my dreams. I have CPTSD and have had a version of the same dream for the last 3.5yrs. I seem to be processing my whole life, which for me leads to dis regulation. Depending on how bad they are, it could be hours to days of trying to piece together the procession of dreams. I tried your website but I can’t get a secure connection. Is there another way to get a story to you? I’m at the point of avoiding sleep most of the time, as it can be very distressing. Thank you!

I think she is oppressed by what she thinks a woman should be.

She feels no power . She is impotent. No, I don't agree with woman with the curly hair. She does NOT need to submit to the men, sexually or emotionally and does NOT need to revert back to an earlier immature version of her self that she is visiting like the ghost of Christmas past, where she submitted to an ugly job, with coarse people who used her. She's feeling used, and not creative. She's describing her fears, her disgust, the sexism, and not telling us, or herself, what she wants to create. So many women opt to have children as an alternative to a dangerous authentic creative life as an artist or intellectual. She's tired of living another's life. It's time for her own. She doesn't know how. She has the elixir of life, but she doesn't know how to use it.
