Not all non-Bollywood movies are hated on by Indians. The Bengali movie trailer 'Rajkahini' was well received by all and does not have hate comments because it looks like a good trailer. Same case with other South Indian movies like Bahubali. Bollywood trailers have also been badly criticized here (example Kick), and comments like "who requested this" are regularly posted on non-popular Bollywood trailers. A good trailer will not be hated (no matter what industry it comes from).

It's quite acceptable for Jaby to react that way cause he's not used to watching indian masala films but I see so lot of ignorance and generalized statements in the comments section from a lot of indian followers. I'm a huge film lover and have been following a lot of regional cinema lately after seeing so much horse crap about how bad they are. Surprisingly, majority of the films I've seen recently proved that statement wrong. Let's take tollywood as an example. TFI produced more number of good and successful films in the last four months than any other industry and not a single movie was a masala film. it started off with a romantic comedy called nenu sailaja and the recent best being Oopiri and Kshanam. Bollywood has also produced some great films from Airlift to Kapoor and Sons. Hollywood had great films such as Deadpool, Kung Fu Panda 3, Zootopia, 10 Cloverfield lane and so forth. The stats are obviously not consistent but my point is every industry has good and bad films and movies are made according to AUDIENCE and CULTURAL CONFORMITIES. AND 70& of films are bad in ANY film industry. Only few films are good and if you even take the percentage of hit/good films with the total number of films produced, the percentile is almost the same anywhere. I humbly request people do get their facts straight instead of bluntly making careless statements. And Oh, how can i forget malayalam films. They produce some of the finest films in India.

Hey Jaby I know the reason for your confusion watching the trailer.Actually these genres are called masla entertainers.They are made especially for regional audience and non multiplex goers .These kinda movies have over the top fight scenes that defies laws of physics,crazy dream sequences and slap stick comedy these are called masala entertainers because its spice which other movie goers than regional audience cannot handle and the reason they are made can be explained in two words "Repeated Audience".Check out Panja trailer of the same actor u ll like it

Sorry , but Akeira knows very very little about "indian movies" :) All hardcore mainstream movies whether its bollywood , telugu , tamil or some other regional cinema ...... are more or less similar to the one you just watched. All of them has the hero beating up the bad guy (and his cronies ) single handedly , all have a wafer thin (mostly regressive) plot , the female leads are there to be rescued and shake their lady bits in songs to titillate the male audiences , all stunts defy laws of physics (if newton was alive he would have put a gun to his head after watching these movies) and the actors ham like there is no tomorrow. These movies are meant to appeal to the lowest common denominator of audiences (sorry but no offence there ) , so that they can pull in maximum audiences in the threstres. Whats interesting is ....... the above (most of it atleast) description could easily be used for a run of the mill hollywood summer blockbuster , except the song part i guess :) ( i was just picturing super man and lois jane doing pelvic thrusts 😝😝) But I guess , its all about levels. And the "Indian" mainstream easily beats a hollywood mainstream .............................. in levels of absurdity

This movie is known for its songs and tremendous comedy. Yes, with Pawan Kalyan, everything is larger than life, over dramatic... Out and out commercial films. In real life, he is a very good person, involved in various social causes and lives a very humble life.

Hey Jaby I know the reason for your confusion watching the trailer.Actually these genres are called masla entertainers.They are made especially for regional audience and non multiplex goers .These kinda movies have over the top fight scenes that defies laws of physics,crazy dream sequences and slap stick comedy these are called masala entertainers because its spice which other movie goers than regional audience cannot handle and the reason they are made can be explained in two words "Repeated Audience".Check out Panja trailer of the same actor u ll like it

Jaby .... Sorry , but Akeira knows very very little about "indian movies" :) All hardcore mainstream movies whether its bollywood , telugu , tamil or some other regional cinema ...... are more or less similar to the one you just watched.
All of them has the hero beating up the bad guy (and his cronies ) single handedly , all have a wafer thin (mostly regressive) plot , the female leads are there to be rescued and shake their lady bits in songs to titillate the male audiences , all stunts defy laws of physics (if newton was alive he would have put a gun to his head after watching these movies) and the actors ham like there is no tomorrow. These movies are meant to appeal to the lowest common denominator of audiences (sorry but no offence there ) , so that they can pull in maximum audiences in the threstres.
Whats interesting is ....... the above (most of it atleast) description could easily be used for a run of the mill hollywood summer blockbuster , except the song part i guess :) ( i was just picturing super man and lois jane doing pelvic thrusts 😝😝)

You can't judge the whole movie industry by one over the top action scene movie. Do you know the trailers you reacted "bahubali" & "eega" are telugu movies , shot in telugu originally and "Kick" trailer which you reacted was originally made in telugu , it is way better than the hindi version.

This movie is known for its songs and tremendous comedy. Yes, with Pawan Kalyan, everything is larger than life, over dramatic... Out and out commercial films. In real life, he is a very good person, involved in various social causes and lives a very humble life.
Ok I have to accept this is over dramatised.. But before judging just watch the movies or some scenes from "Jhonny" And "Thammudu" of Pawan Kalyan.. That Girl Akiera will be blown off.
