Nice fly! It's a brown trout candy.

Again, a great example and description. I have a lot of material for streamer fishing at home, even if I'm still missing some things, this pattern is easy for material. Why don't you put two plastic balls between the hooks now?
I'm not very good at tying the silon rope to the front hook and it gets twisted after a while. The back part is the other way around.
A lot of good ns treamer anglers also prefer eyes. and I'm not afraid to put them big. you don't put them almost anywhere. I mean sticky eyes... why?
We are interested in the fact that you don't give a dark back like a real fish. I am already looking forward to using the new weapons on the LOOp stillwater7 and pulling on the river, even if it is not successful.
the weather doesn't allow it and today it's snowing heavily and the streams are big... Do you also use natural marabou? maybe for mudler minnow
As a knot, I got used to using small carabiners from my colleagues for a quick change and I completely fell in love with it.

The longer the fly, the need for the beads (balls) to keep the back hook from getting caught on the front hook, also helps keep the rear hook swinging freely. I dont use eyes because I dont believe in them... I belive the motion of the fly is what sells it more. You can have great eyes but if you dont move the fly properly you will not catch fish. You could add back color, I was teaching young adults to tie streamers for the first time and did not want to complicate the fly. There are two knots I use to tie my streamers on Loop Knot and Davy knot. Both are awesome!

Nice easy tie. Change up the marabou color for the wing and you could make it look like a little perch, little rainbow etc.

Jon , Yes you are absolutely correct. The great thing about this fly is the versatility. Change the Marabou or Ice Dub and you have a completely different looking fly! Cheers!

I started tying with steelhead flies and intruders. So much emphasis on supporting materials to give a large profile. I have a hard time having confidence in sparse streamers not just collapsing in the current. What is your take on that?

Think of water as an ingredient in the fly, with water, and sparse materials comes movement and life. Also with less materials comes translucency, so the fly does not look solid against the sky. Remember baitfish are camouflaged so they dont get eaten.
