Forgot to mention Pillin proteins that make up Pilli. Porins an important components of the outer membrane of the gram negative bacteria.
Allah must bless you with his blessings sir make u more prosperous Aamin . thank you tube.
Your Immunology lectures not only helped me pass my first year of dental school but also made me fall in love with the subject. You have awesome way of teaching and it seems so natural to you. I am hoping to get the same experience from your microbiology lectures. Thanks.
Thank you for the note Jawad. I am laying the foundations for the Micro in the early lectures. Once we are in the full swing, I will hope you will enjoy this subject too!
I´m from Brazil and will start to have microbiology classes in this year. So i decided to look some videos to take an overview and found you channel. You´re great! thank you

+Laila Alkassabi good luck for your mid terms.
rakeshkumar sahoo good to know that the lectures are helping clear the concepts.
I love ur lecture!! However, there's kind of confusion for me that is the movement of the flagella move forward when it rotate counter- clockwise and tumble when clockwise, isn't it? cuz my lecturer told me in an opposite way with u :(
Sorry but you made a mistake about the bacteria flagellum.
Counterclockwise is forward motion and clockwise is tumbling. Flagella are left-handed helices, and bundle and rotate together only when rotating counterclockwise.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flagellum i.e counterclockwise is forward motion. I can t believe nobody corrected you as this is microbiology 101 basics
No need to be sorry. I consider correction comments as my errata :-) So, thank you for contributing.
Thank u sir.. M a student of microbiology it helps me a lot..

A question struck my mind.... Gram negative bacteria lack mesosomes, right? So which structure in the gram negative helps perform the functions of mesosomes like cell wall formation, DNA replication, respiration, etc?.... If u see this, please do reply I have an upcoming test based on such questions!
Thank you so much Doc!! Your lecture was very helpful!!! :)

+najiib shame thank you!
you are awesome!! thank you so much
Sir in my micro book and lecture, it says the opposite of what you mention about flagella: clockwise movement = trumbling and counter-clockwise movement = jet motion.
Is it that like making a "whip with a towel", that you close the several flagella (both clock-wise/counterclockwise possible) to make jet movement and then open flagella (both directions possible) to make tumbling movement?
Or is Jet vs tumbling motion only possible from one rotationary direction?
thank you Dr. you helped me alot
You are welcome!
Thank you sir to much good lectures long live sir💓💓💕💓💕💓💕
Thank u so much sir
