    Not a lot of GN content on UA-cam. Old timers are dying off and builders are busy building. I appreciate you recording and sharing your knowledge. Keep it coming

    How long did the harness take to remove in total? Thanks

    • @wattsperformance
      @wattsperformance  11 днів тому +1

      Removing the harness is typically a 4 to 12 hour process. Just depends on how much stuff is in the way.

    Do you use the Cruz headers or another brand?

    • @wattsperformance
      @wattsperformance  7 днів тому

      Great question.
      For this particular package, our go to headers are the TA Performance Stock Replacement Headers. They simply fit, the hardware and gasket kit is nice, + these headers are the most cost effective headers that fit. We've tried every header on the market. Few fit without surgery.
      Regarding the Cruz stock replacement headers, they are a nice alternative solution. They've made some positive changes, and they fit.
      I recommend a "stock replacement header" for those under 650 horsepower. Once you go over that, it's time to consider a race style header with longer primaries.
      "Primary" Reason: The shorter primaries found on the stock style headers will create excessive heat, which in turn will prematurely crack the headers.

      @@wattsperformance Dev: I've used Cruz stock replacement headers with 3 bolt flange and they fit perfect and didn't have any issues. I also have their headers for 4 bolt Turbo flange and their entire kit is by far the best I have seen out of anyone. I've also used their 3 and 3.5 inch downpipes and they are perfect. The 3.5 inch downpipe fit without any issues or modifications. I've also been to Cruz's shop and see how they make all their headers. They bolt each set on a mach up motor before they go out. Their attention to detail is second to none for Headers and the wiring harnesses. You should take a trip to Tampa and visit their shop, you won't find any vendor better for these products.

    Why you using a Casper’s harness that’s made wrong per the manufacturer?

    • @wattsperformance
      @wattsperformance  7 днів тому

      Great topic! Can you help us with more information? What's incorrect about the Casper's harness?

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones 7 днів тому

      @@wattsperformance Dev I can jump in here, Holly requires power and ground direct to the battery without ground blocks or power distribution blocks. Caspers harness does not go direct to the battery and utilizes power distribution blocks. Holly also requires shielded cable on crucial sensors for CAM, Crank, and Wide band. Caspers does not use shielded cable.

      @@SteelCityDronesthanks for sharing that insight. Who does Holley have manufacture their harnesses?

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones 7 днів тому

      @@wattsperformance Dev, your 2 choices are Caspers or Cruz, like I mentioned in another post, Cruz's process is completely over the top notch. If you visited their shop you would see for yourself. Let me be completely transparent with you. I am a total anal nut when it comes to what I put on my car. I am very hard to please with what I am willing to put on the car. Cruz has great S**T, can tspeak any higher for Don's stuff. call my office if you want to talk in detail. Take care Dave.

      @@wattsperformance Dev Do yourself a favor and take a trip to Tampa and visit Cruz's shop. See how they make the harnesses and headers. It will be the best trip you make this year.
