Blowing oil allover the ground just ensures our kids have something to drill for
HAHAHAHA Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
“Put the nuts and bolts on the floor so you can then kick them under a bench and spend hours looking for them.” Best quote of the video. Lol.
It happens to me every time haha Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
Bullet shells make great gasket punches kept up the great work
Great idea! I will try that next time! Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
That truck is a workhorse! Thank you for helping recoat the Arkansas pavement with oil. They don’t repave here, just throw in some cold patch and let the oils of the road hold it down 😂
Not a problem, anyting i can do to help, but hopefully next time im in Arkansas i wont be spreading that Texas Black Gold!
I completely empathize with the hand pains. Sometimes people think that I am being a wimp about it but until they have arthritis, they will never understand. Sometimes simple tasks are horrendous. Especially in the cold.
I was impressed that shaved bolt came out without welding anything to it. Everything went fairly smooth. I call that a win. Thanks for sharing and take care. ✌️
I got so lucky on that bolt, Glad I was able to replace it before that thing broke off into the case. Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
Good fix. One less thing to worry about.
Watching now. 😎😎
Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
Thanks for making this fun :)
Appreciate it and Thanks For Watching!
Nice work! Taking out the transmission is always fun. At least you have access to a hoist!
I was lucky enough to be able to use The Dodge Whisperers lift, This would have been brutal on the floor. Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
the old chain trick!!
Got to hold back all those Armadillos
I am so glad I don't have to do any of this.
Good job.
It was not fun, I hope I don't have to do it again for awhile haha Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
@jaybo. 😂😂😂
I swear every time i do a manual trans it just slides in after i give it a blood sacrifice or run to the store to get longer bolts to suck it in.
Dagnabbit you forgot to filter that used oil through a dirty sock
It's like the dirt sock didn't make a difference haha Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
My '04 Cummins truck leaks oil all over the place. It has 315,000 miles on it, so I just put more in when it asks nicely.
If it's leaking then it has oil! Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
I like the sight glass on the pto plate cover. Just like we use on the planetaries for the boat.
Its very helpful for quick checks in the transmission. Appreciate it and Thanks for watching!
Duddie ya hacía falta un vídeo de un pickup así saludos
Este camión necesita mucho trabajo. Vendrán más videos. ¡Aprecialo y gracias por mirar!
Just think of this as prep work for a better tow vehicle for the NNN 2023 !!! 👍
Got to get this clapped out Dodge Ready to Tow The Taco Express! Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
Someone told me I needed to check out your channel, and now I understand why… I think we might be the same person. Are you me but slightly in the future? Should we have a beer together or fight to the death? Good stuff!
Well if you own several Clapped Out Dodges, Have a a never ending craving for Tacos, and wreak of regret with a hint of old Spice, then you've made it to the right place. Appreciate it and Thanks For Watching!
@@DuddiesAdventure It's more like regret, diesel, and "Ocean Surf" but I'm happy to be here!
I dont miss my Getrag at all! Those shifters are pure hell. Looks like you got lucky!
Which Valair clutch did you get? I think mine is the 400hp organic single disc with 3rd gen hydraulics. I love it
I got there OEM replacement that is suppose to be good to 350hp. So far it works great
@@DuddiesAdventure nice!
Hey duddie great video this is like the 3rd time I watched it now. My a518 decided to fry the overdrive clutches so I'm planning on doing a getrag swap. I wanted to see if you by any chance have the driveshaft length for this truck or could get it? Mine is an extended cab 2wd also and Im working on accumulating parts. Hopefully will be able to order in the getrag soon.
I do not have the driveshaft length. But I would install your new transmission and then measure for your new driveshaft. Any good driveshaft shop should be able to take care of you. Though most trucks are the same, small difference between setup and suspension can change the overall length. Appreciate it and Thanks For Watching !
@@DuddiesAdventure Alright just trying to do my best to avoid going to a driveshaft considering a slight funds issue atm.
I just missed it.... so I am watching it now
Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
Anti oiler rust prevention is working. I haven't seen a non greezy 12 valve that didn't work.
Have to keep the chassis lubricated, Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
@@DuddiesAdventure if it's leaking. It's got oil in it
Was thinkin you were going to make it all the way through without busting a knuckle.
Cringed, right away, when I saw the Big Orange hammer.
Yup, that finger was swollen quick!! Had to sit there with a ice pack and question my life decisions haha Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
does it still have 5 forward gears?
1 forward 5 reverse............
Was the dirty sock already in the jug?
Surprisingly the dirty sock didn't do much filtering!
I found a quicker way to remove driveshafts. #becauseracetruck
Drill String Drivetrain! great for Burnouts and Oil Wells! Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
What was the torque specs that would be helpful
i dont know them off the top of my head but you can search for torque specs from a factory service manual for what ever you need. Thanks for watching!
@@DuddiesAdventure thanks for the reply love the mopar content appreciate you bro keep up the bad ass videos these Cummins trucks my favorite trucks to drive
Is that an np 435?
Its a Getrag 360 5 Speed, Appreciate it and Thanks for Watching!
It's a Cummins if it's not leaking oil does it even have oil in it
HAHA You aren't wrong! Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
I'm guessing it's not the 12 volts it's the 225 amps in the battery that hurts not not the 12 volts
All the electricity hurts haha Appreciate it and thanks for watching!
