  • Mother tiger Rana and her young family live in Nagarhole National Park, in Southern India. Her plight is shared by many tigers in this part of India, caused largely by humans who have poached their prey and encroached on their habitat. Now, there are less than 2500 bengal tigers left. Rana isn't licked yet, and stumbles upon a clearing where plenty of prey reside. A lone Sambar deer heads to the woods alone, and Rana just may have a shot at him. She waits patiently in the bushes, and surprises the Sambar to his demise. Rana has succeeded, and calls her cubs to come feast. The tigers will eat for the next 4 days, and live to hunt another day.

    Tigers, the most beautiful cats of all the felines with the best characteristics. They always hunt alone (unlike Lions, who hunt in groups), n wait until the tigress & cubs have eaten (unlike Lions, who fight with each other n eat first), r very powerful & ferocious, yet not quarrelsome (when a tiger crosses another tiger, just passes-by without fighting generally, r very good swimmers (unlike Lions), can climb trees with effortless ease etc.

    There are many sources that mention that there are over 3,000 Bengal tigers in the wilds, in these times.... Plus I seriously doubt, the that was an over 700 lbs adult sambar male deer, since India's bucks normally weigh around 600 lbs..

    • @edwinreveron870
      @edwinreveron870 Рік тому +2

      @Slimothy James -What are you talking about? Whitetail deers, red deers, elks, and sambar deers, easily surpassed that weight you mentioned.... The one on this video is at least twice the weight of the tiger, so about 600 lbs.. And the largest of sambar deers subspecies, can get a bit over a thousand lbs...

    • @edwinreveron870
      @edwinreveron870 Рік тому

      @Slimothy James I have see whitetail deers in person, in Virginia, and Tennessee, and from not that far of a distance.. The mature females alone, looked just about 200 lbs, in those area.... But in certain areas, I have read that male whitetail deers can get up to 450 lbs...

    • @edwinreveron870
      @edwinreveron870 Рік тому

      @Slimothy James- 200 lbs is like the weight average of the mature female whitetail deers, not that of adult males, they're larger than that...

      @edwinreveron870 Рік тому

      @Slimothy James -Nah, like I told you, I seen whitetail deers in person, and the females with calves looked right around 200 lbs.... While I didn't see too many males, except for a young buck, right around the same size, so the more mature males would be bigger..
