My social studies teacher showed us this song (the original not the animation) as well as others and they were really entertaining so I'd say she did a pretty good job.
I understand this is supposed to be a joke, but hitler took over Poland in 18 days. It takes a long time to mobilize for war, so it’s not that Britain didn’t want to help, it’s that they couldn’t. There was no way Britain could send thousands or millions of soldiers to mainland Europe, set up supply lines, and come up with a battle plan in 18 days.

Holy crap, I see so many people so misinformed about this topic. When America got attacked by japan, they didn’t declare war on the axis powers. They only declared war on the Japanese empire. Nazi germany then declared war on America, because japan was their ally.
Okay so like, the fact that Canada was the country to speak during the pearl harbour attack in this map is so incredibly awesome and historically accurate. Canada actually declared war on Imperial Japan before America did.
Canada left the British empire before WWI. They joined both wars apart from England. Canada literally joined WWI a week after England just to prove this point.

To provide some context, though America was officially not waging war, it _was_ blockading fuel shipments from getting to Japan, so they were contributing to the war against the Japanese Empire, even though they weren't engaged in direct combat. Therefore, it is more understandable why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. They were hoping to force America to stop blockading their fuel.
@@agiar2000 also The USA anexxed Hawaii for their 50th state which was at the time Japanese. The blockade and anexxing is an act of war just that not many see it that way. The Japanese responded to that act of war as any country would. I don't agree with any of their brutal actions from the allies or the Axis but Japan was right on that part.
