The bohemian rhapsody of DW trailers. Starts off small and calm, then builds into this bombastic thrill ride that doesn’t seem to let up until it decides to slow down again
Don't forget Turn Left, that episode was genius! Also let's take a moment and pray Bill is half as good as Donna, even that would be an improvement compared to the writing disaster Jenna Coleman was unlucky enough to play.
season four is my favorite, with two close behind. I love Donna, she's a perfect companion for ten, there's no weird complicated relationship stuff, and i love her attitude, and she knows that he loves Rose [she totes ships them]
4 is an alarmist flawless series and I agree so much with Donna being the perfect companion. She sold me the moment she said “I ain’t mating with you sunshine”. If I’m honest though series 2 is nowhere near this level definitely one of the weaker ones although the two parters in series 2 are amazing and so is the girl in the fireplace episode, rest of the single stories r kinda just meh.
This was the best Doctor Who season I've ever watched. The reason it being the best is because the new Doctor Who series lacks the thrills, drama and epic returns.
I'm happy I never seen this trailer at the time cause then it would have spoiled roses return for me. I prefer the way I found out, during the scene in partners in crime were donna talks to her, then she turns around. Brilliant moment!
Nope. You not the only one. I did to. I like how they made David Tennant Doctor meeting Donna again after she took his mind and he had to take her memory’s of him and not before that happened. I just hope that Tennant Doctor gets closer for what happened at the end of this series and she can keep her memory’s of him this time.
This is the best trailer and the best series IMO. Loved Donna and the Doctor's chemistry - just best friends, nothing else. So sad the way it ended for her... :(
my favorite part of that trailer was from 0:59-1:09. when i first saw it on the TV, all i could think about was the fact that we had all 3 companions in the same trailer!
his hair got progressively better as the seasons went on. ohh these seasons made me cryyy. the end of every season made me feel like rolling into a ball and just weep in a corner. Not one movie has ever made me cry. not one tv show have i ever gotten so attached to. but THIS! ITS BECAUSE IT FEELS SO REAL!
The greatest Doctor Who Trailer EVER! Which inevitable lead to the most successful run (with regards to viewing and appreciation figures) in the entire history of the programme.
Jkarani - I accept your challenge and win. That part of the Christmas Invasion is actually one of my favorite parts of Doctor Who ever. For me, the sheer over-the-top quality of the thing makes it brilliant. I don't expect you to change your mind about it; I understand where you're coming from. I just wanted to say that some fans actually loved it. :)
Thank you from the States! The music is good here -- also, I enjoyed watching the Series 4. Donna Noble was one of my favorite companions of the new series. Will the Rutons or the Fendahl ever come back in series 5? And what did you think happened to Borusa?
In the history of the show he does, as he used to have a grand daughter. In the new show a while ago he makes a comment about being a dad and there is an episode called "The Doctors Daughter" in this series :)
OMG I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! we are in australia and the final episode is screening this sunday!!! trust me, everything makes sense when you see it I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!
I'm so glad Murray Gold used this theme throughout the series and the specials. It's one of my favorite "action" themes from the show -- more than Eleven's "I Am The Doctor" theme.
@@davidrollinson1649 It's a variation of "All the Strange, Strange Creatures," originally written for the season 3 trailer, but also used throughout season 3 and 4.
omg we saw the last ep last sunday and it was AWSEOME!!!! i totally want to see series 5 but someone said that they aren't going to make it, instead there going to do like tons of feature length episodes now and then I WANT A SERIES 5 DAMN IT!!!
I guess I should clarify my meaning. BBC America probably does get them on time, for those of us unwilling or more likely unable to pay for satellite or cable television, we have to wait two years for it to air on a Public Broadcasting Station. And even then they might skip around a bit and replay some earlier seasons in between the two "current" ones.
Fantastic Tardis: I like her, as a character, and as a "plot device", I think she is long overdue -- it is an unrealized story potential for such a show that a "paradoxical" relationship, of sorts, shouldn't have occured by now for the Doctor; it's obvious that their stories/adventures aren't going to be taking place in linear sequence to each other, and that is simply *awesome* from a narrative POV, and it gives the show a more genuine flavor in terms of its time-travel motif...
alright, the other guy didn't really give you a good description, so I'll give you mine (major fan here) Doctor who is about a time traveling alien, The doctor, and his adventures fighting alien monsters, righting wrongs and solving mysteries. he has (usually) a human companion who travels with him (to provide a human perspective). its on every saturday at 7:00 (traditionally)
That's the music they used in Season 3 when the Doctor met the Master in "The Sound of Drums" and "Last of the Time Lords" I forget who does the music, but they released a CD with seasons 1 & 2 on it and I'm hoping and guessing that they will release seasons 3 & 4 on the next CD (2009?)
I agree. I feel that the 11th doctor is a much darker doctor than the tenth, especially in season 7. The tenth doctor is more serious, but at the same time more lighter and not as angry.
I think that clip of the doctor looking so sad/shocked/stunned/upset because I think he's got Rose's message cos if you watched the poison sky episode, she breifly flashed on the screen in the Tardis didn't she but he wasn't in the tardis so maybe that's it.
I have already watched this trailer and was about to click away because I was looking for a different video. But this is too awesome to turn away from.
This trailer still gives me goosebumps even four years later.
This trailer still gives me goosebumps even fourteen years later.

@@sh-ig9fm Very cool
Same. Now 14 years later

Definitely my favourite series so far. Planet of the Ood, Fires of Pompeii, Midnight and who could forget Journey's End? Great episodes.
Don't forget Turn Left, that episode was genius! Also let's take a moment and pray Bill is half as good as Donna, even that would be an improvement compared to the writing disaster Jenna Coleman was unlucky enough to play.

Take me back to when I was 8 years old, and being so hyped to see Rose Tyler finally make her comeback. This trailer was everything!

Agreed.
I always saw Ten’s Doctor as - Donna being his best friend, Rose as his lover & Martha as his intelligent colleague.
This was the best Doctor Who season I've ever watched.
The reason it being the best is because the new Doctor Who series lacks the thrills, drama and epic returns.
Omg yes, your so right
Omg I remember watching this trailer a million times! Series for was the best!
Definitely one of my favourite ever DW Series trailers along with the trailer for this year's series. I still miss 10/Donna
Catherine and David were the best
You´re right! :D but Catherine was too really good :D
Peak Who with great writing and the best Doc! Unmistakable TV! ❤️
The soundtrack is "All the Strange Strange Creatures," by Murray Gold. It is on the Dr. Who Series 3 Soundtrack.
I'm happy I never seen this trailer at the time cause then it would have spoiled roses return for me. I prefer the way I found out, during the scene in partners in crime were donna talks to her, then she turns around. Brilliant moment!
Am I the only one who's come back to this after seeing the 60th-anniversary trailer??? So be it, then!!!
Nope. You not the only one. I did to. I like how they made David Tennant Doctor meeting Donna again after she took his mind and he had to take her memory’s of him and not before that happened. 2023 will be a bloody good year rip Bernard cribbins..
I love the drama and emotion or Doctor Who, the thing that completes it is the music. So beyond epic.
Donna was my fave companion I dont care if that upsets the Billie Piper fans but Donna was way better.
Rose was awful
+Graeme Spence What I love about Donna was that she was the first companion in New Who who didn't fall in love with the Doctor.
+Ferger Burger She kind of did it... but she kept her own head and that's really nice.
both were amazing its martha that was rubbish not a storyline really for martha
@@smashinghumer666literally no?
My best season. Loved it along with the 2008-2010 specials, david tennant was amazing!
Rose, Martha, and Donna. The good ol’ times
this is definately the best version of this clip ive seen on UA-cam, thanks :)
wish they'd put a clip of Jack on this trailer though
This was the trailer that got me really excited for Doctor Who, sure I loved it before, but seeing this beauty in the cinema was so good!
Who’s here after David and Catherine coming back for the 60th anniversary
RIP Bernard. You were amazing in this series.
THEY'RE BACK
Mighty Rtd 1 era ... Never gonna get the same feelings again😢
This is the best trailer and the best series IMO. Loved Donna and the Doctor's chemistry - just best friends, nothing else. So sad the way it ended for her... :(
SUCH a cool trailer - it really is. I can watch it now and get excited even though season 4 has come and gone a while ago now.
Brilliant music.
I get the chills from this trailer every time and the season ended up being just as incredible.
Still the most exciting trailer I've ever seen! LOVE the music! Wish I would have seen it in the cinema though!
the best work in Television history.
I remember when this trailer first came out! Damn series 4 was so good! Massive Doctor Who fan for over 10 years now! Crazy to think about.
series 4 had so many stand out moments and i love this music
Best series, best trailer. The music is epic. Donna is epic!!
I was eight when this came out and at 1:06 I was screaming, rose is back! Rosssee is back! And now I'm fifteen and Clara's my fav!
watching this in '17.. missing it soo much
dona noble is the funniest sassy companion like if you agree
series 4 always made me feel spooked out when i first watched it XD
The best season by far in my opinion.
FINALLY a good quality version of that cool promo that for ages was on here filmed at the cinema!

Who is watching 👀 This in 2024?
I am sad that David is leaving but I so want to see the new doctor Matt Smith. He looks the part and am anxious to see what he can do.
