- If there’s one vehicle that makes Marty of Mighty Car Mods fame weak at the knees - it’s a Subaru. Make that a Subaru wagon. He takes us on the journey of MCM’s latest build project; a fully built H6 engine, driveline and interior swap from an WRX STI into a 2017 Subaru Levorg, and the Boys believe this is the first time it’s been done - anywhere - with the Levorg now pushing 600hp. Why should wagons miss out on all the fun?

Yeah, I was really thrown by that, too. To my ear he sounds compressed and has had the lows beefed up.

One of Subaru's biggest mistakes was discontinuing the WRX wagon. Thank you Marty for demonstrating why they should bring it back.

10 year owner of a Subaru Forester STI Lirchfield 330 the perfect car has never let me down.
Honestly wish this was a 50 min video, not 5 mins. Love MCM and this car in particular... Cracking editing and I fully support the desire of a car that does everything!

They have lowered it but unsure why. Maybe to make him sound more important or manlier?? 😵💫 so weird
Or just another thought, maybe they lowered the sound on the whole video to try and make the car sound better but ended up making Marty sound weird.

Classic studio microphone. Picks up heaps of lower frequencies and if you don't filter those in post, you end up like this.
Honestly my favourite subaru in the world right now, marty and the MCM fellas have built something truly special, its practical and fast, yet somehow doesnt sacrifice anything, its just the definition of the perfect tuner car.
Levorg will be a future classic. Ultimate all rounder. What a monster! ❤❤❤

Wow! That's crazy! 600hp! That's a lot of power from such a small 3.0 litre Boxer engine. Awesome looking car! I've always loved Subarus.
Don't forget thats wheel horsepower. The number at the crank is closer to 800hp

Been watching MCM for years; learnt much on their show and applied it to my own car (JZZ30 vvti, big turbos, E85, Haltech ecu, 6 speed manual)

One of the best looking wagons close second to the Audi rs6 in my opinion Loved the build and the ez30d mach 2 is my all time favorite engine love the noises . My 3.0r legacy 2009 spec b will have to do it ain't a levorg but its the closest thing.
