This only happened to me with FF15 so I’m glad I’m not alone.
The old man quest genuinely made me feel bad we meet at the start and Clive was probably the only person to ever show him kindness as a branded, and that old man has been waiting for Clive to return even though he did not if he was dead or alive.
I love how the video started out cinematic and deep then kev was just like: "DEATH BATTLE"

The first 2 hours is extremely cut scene heavy but after that it gets a lot better. It runs great in fidelity mode and hasn’t crashed once in 20 hours of gameplay

I’m glad that Nemora has taken a backseat for this game. I adore his style and his work, but he’s had some major role in every final fantasy since FF5, either as a lead artist or story director or just overall director of the full game, and I’m happy to see other directors take a spotlight and I hope both Nemora and Yoshida get to do all sorts of exciting projects in the future.
You talking about Nomura? I hope that man never directs another game aside from Kingdom Hearts again. He rightfully got replaced in 15. I love his KH work, but he's not that great of a leader simply going by his performance. He never directed a game before KH, he was only art director and character designer, but his artwork became so iconic they slapped his name on the front of any work he contributed to in order to help drive up sales, and it worked. He only got the position with XV bc of his success with KH and he really dropped the ball with that one, especially considering how he did continue with XV to its completion. I honestly hope he gets a break from all this cuz he, and all of us fans, deserve it
@@OathOblivio I think simply how well he's done with KH warrants him more projects down the line. He's just creative and ambitious, and he goes too far from time to time. Quite honestly, I loved 15, it's one of my favorites in the series, just like I enjoyed 13 as well. Both have their rocky moments, but are good games / stories, and I don't care about long development time as long as I get something of quality at the end, which I felt I did with 15. I do think Nemora needs a break (as a lead developer) and the fans need a break from Nemora, but I can't wait to see what he makes later down the line.
@@ozymandas4746 I get the sentiment, but you misunderstand, Nomura didn't direct the finished product of 15 you love so much. I also love 15 and it's story, but I also have to admit that despite my love for the story, it's not a very good one in many regards. He was fired due to his unfortunate overambition with that project. Hajime Tabita was the director who delivered the version of 15 you enjoyed, not Nomura. With the help of the production team, Tabita and his writers rewrote most of Nomura's work in 15. Really the only things left of Nomura in that game is the modern fantasy-punk setting, the main cast, and the character design. That's about it. I would have wanted the game Nomura originally wanted, but he failed to deliver on for whatever reason, but as a game dev myself, it's rough, and I can't really excuse Nomura for it. You're right, he will get more projects, but I hope he improves and doesn't go down hill. Tbh, as a massive KH fan, the story of KH is also pretty bad if you actually evaluate it, but if you don't it's a nice feel good, heartfelt story. Those are just the kind of things Nomura likes to make

I'd say the demo was one of the best "demos" out there for a game, since it is just the first hour or two of the game and ends at a perfect point to make you invested to see where things go. It's particularly good compared to a lot of the demos that exist that just drop you in blindly to some late game stuff that has no impact but is still railroaded, or just gives you a bit of time to roam around.
The way kev ended the video is five fire alligators being beaten to a pulp by a punk out of a chef's kiss
