@aimashah707 No.. but in the Lore of Final Fantasy typically Omega is the bigger badder version of Ultima. Nowhere in Dragon Ball Z did Freiza ever mention he had an older brother and they made that work just fine.
Not sure about the rest but Leviathan possibly will be included in the DLC since Leviathan was mentioned as "The Lost Eikon" and maybe the Dominant would be Medicine Girl, because I don't think she has any significant role in the game, but she appeared quite a lot for her to be just a mere NPC
I guess the game mechanics would take the save game from the first play through save file and not the NG+ saved game file like it did when u chose to play the FF mode initially. As OP weapons are locked behind NG+’s FF mode only.
@@anirudh270909yeah, but you can do as many NG+ as you want, so the question is: are you locked into FF mode in subsequent NG+ or can you do a 3rd playthrough, for example, and pick action focused again?

I'm sorry I'm horrible with remembering names and such but I promise you I got 2 of them this way
I wish that mode gave encounters a little more variety in how they are handled. They still feel like the same encounter on repeat throughout the game. You dont change your plan of attacks per encounter except extremely slightly
No and no again. It won’t stack up NG+ over NG+ game file as it asks u to choose the normal mode save game file from ur initial playthrough. All OP weapons locked behind NG+’s FF mode only.
Small correction: 08:07 after beating all the Chrinoliths in NG+ all accessories become available to buy but at different merchants so you might check them one by one if you're looking for something specific. And that is only applicable if you sold anything by mistake. However, by the end of my NG+ I literally got everything in the game without buying a single accessory. (Maybe 1?) You definitely don't need a 3rd or 4th playthrough at all.
What you need is to put those Gil farming accessories to work. On my first playthrough with only the Leviathan DLC to finish and the final MQ and I went from 500k to 30k just collecting all the orchestrion rolls from each merchant. And those ability specific accessories are the 2nd most expensive things right after the music scores.
I don’t know, feels kinda like clickbait? “Completely changes the game” as in it adds a single weapon and a few enemies. Everything else is really superficial, it feels like replaying the game a second time.
Ofc it's clickbait, the experience is different because of the difficulty and fighting late game enemies from the beginning, but the story is the exact same from MQs to SQs so obviously it's not a radical difference except in terms of challenges.
It always suck when they give you the Ultima weapon right at the end. Like what am I supposed to do with this? Fight packs of wolves? There should be ways to acquire them by 50 or 70% playthrough so you at least get some time with it.
Do a 2nd NG+ so you can flex all the op gear and higher lvls on the puny FF mode enemies. It also comes in handy if you really want to torture yourself with Ultimaniac in arcade mode.
Loved this game so much but why didn't they make the crafting this important and worthwhile in the first playthrough It feels like you have to beat the entire game to get the true game experience I would've loved to play FF mode just from the jump since almost all the enemies were super easy except some optional hunts and the last boss
@@calumcarmichael8088 I tend to agree. Have some fun, enjoy the great story, and once you've learned the basics of the combat, jump right back in and truly enjoy everything the combat has to offer. People really DON'T want to be getting stuck on a random dragoon boss for 4 hours in the middle of a quest because he's overly difficult. I REPEAT. Having the hardest difficulty on first try is almost always the wrong choice. I've done it in so many games, and I never really understood the combat well enough to really take advantage the increased difficulty asked of me.
@@FabzP96 Yup, Final fantasy mode without every ability would be a nightmare. It would be you hacking and slashing away with normal combos for 30mins. Not only would the enemies be HP soaks, it wouldn't even be fun.

Idk what they meant by changes the entire game. It just brings mid-late game enemies into the game sooner like several games do. Also the ultima weapon crafting process is a bit dumb. You aren't able to craft it till the very end so you basically only have the final boss to use it on. At least in kh2 you have a whole additional area and a buncha Super bosses to use the weapon on. Kh3 does it even better and let's you carry it into ng+
I wish this was hard mode from the get-go. I hate content being gated like this. After investing 70-80 hours, that last thing I want to do is replay the exact same game but harder, with the same story. I'll be moving on to another game. I think the base game is pretty easy overall, but could have benefited from enemies scaling in level with you. Luckily though, most enemies are damage sponges so I can still pull off some sick moves. But the base game does need some better balancing to keep it challenging.
Question: do the completed quests carry over? Or do they need to be recompleted? And if so, are they necessary for the Gottendammerung reforged/Ultima Weapon?
I have to disagree quite a bit that New Game+ changes everything. New Game+ Doesn't really change anything other than you getting all the Eikons from the start. All the equipments upgrade doesn't really make the second playthrough more fun by any mean since we all know that equipments in this game lacks varieties and stats to make them feel any different. The enemie's health is so high in Final Fantasy mode that if you really want do deal any damages, you're stuck with Bahamut's ulti, Odin's Dancing Steel and Zantetsuken, TItan's Wind Up, Ramuh's Judgement Bolt (Basically anything that have 4 stars+ damage rating) or you'll take so much time bringing down mini-boss enemies. It's much more fun in the first playthrough as all the skills are somewhat usable and fun (basically can deal decent damages). With New Game+, you're stucked with nothing but those skills I mentioned. Seriously lack of equipment varieties and stats doesn't allow for a fun second playthough.
If you play through Final Fantasy mode and start a third new game plus can you change the difficulty back to normal and keep your new level and the Ultima Sword if you crafted it?
I have a problem on pc where in or out of combat, IF THE CAMERA IS NOT CENTERED and player will dash backwords and cancel attacks or abiliets!!!! NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO FIX THIS and I cant play the game!! If I lock in THE SHIFT BUTTON THE CAMERA STOPS FOLLOWING ME AND ALLOWS ME TO *** PLAY!!!
This is all great and all....I'm almost at the end. But my issue is that the number of cutscenes and the constant walking to and fro as part of the story saps my desire to play it ALLLLLLLLLLLL again. I'm enjoying it but it's been way too easier and I'm concerned they have just made enemies spongier rather than different movesets or actually more difficult. Instead it just looks like they have a massive health bar and are way spongier. Which makes them take longer to beat. The biggest hurdle for me even though I can skip the cutscenes is the walking and slow sections of to and froing as part of the main story which you have to do. I just can't do it all again. I like many others just wish they'd given us the choice to change up to harder difficulty for the first time round. Cus let's face it, it is a story action game - very linear and the upgrading is severely outdated compared to many other games. Almost makes all these materials you pick up a bit pointless. I feel nothing when I do. I love the combat but the gear etc. is very boring and not really engaging. With it being so linear, it just feels like I'm playing on rails.
I agree, I’d wanna play it at a harder level with monsters who are my aggressive and harder move sets. Increased health is a cop out that most games seem to do. I also agree the biggest hurdle for me is the chore of the slow walking back and forth for the slower parts of the game
It's mostly the same. There are just more mini boss enemies added. Enemies do more damage and have more health it's still easy because you have all op eikon abilities also 8 potions 5 high potions 2 elixirs and potions potency upgrade increase from quests.
Can you play multiple new game plus on the same save? Like can I do final fantasy mode and if I bitch out start a other new game plus in another difficulty from the same saved original game
Im confused because I'm playing ng+ on final fantasy mode but i dont have the tab to upgrade accessories? Ive just arrived at the new hideaway and ive only been able to buy 3 of the xp and ap accessories from Charon but nothing about upgrading at blackthorne.
You can demolish the final boss at 45 easily. And if you load up your clear save it will take you right before the final dungeon/boss. So no need to hold out and you can get everything after. Just make sure get everything before ng+
That's a tall order. I'm estimating it took me 100% at around 65 hours. What content can I skip while going through NG+? The only reason I'd run it again is for trophies.
Get all the trophies on 1st playthrough apart from 2, the 'max out all feats and abilities' and complete the game in ff mode. You can skip all the side quests and cut scenes in NG+
Just started New game Plus. So far it's a lot of fun. However taking away the QTE button presses is kind of annoying to figure out which button you're supposed to press
Game is truly a visual spectacle and a solid story too. Mostly Every boss fight feels like a final boss fight in other games. Wouldn't call it the best FF game, because its missing the charm of FF games but as its own thing its a solid top 5 game of the year so far.
They need to have a "Buy back" system, I had absolutely no clue whatsoever that you could craft the gray badge of might/mettle to better versions so I sold the obsolete versions. And I dont feel like undoing 10 hours of progress.
I have a tip for you 😎😎 and it's grade A use ring of timely focus and titan block and you will get perfect blocks every time, effects the stagger meter and you get nice damage boost
Will depend on your familiarity with the combat, your Eikon choice, etc. The cheat rings may look nice, but using any of them will reduce your damage, (by taking slots that could be used for better accs) & increase time it takes to finish. I finished my first playthrough around 50hr with 100%ing all content. Could def be faster too, spent a few hours in Hall of Virtue testing combos, another couple in Arcade. Hope this helps :)
I'm still on my first playthrough and only about level 23 I feel like this game is not hard at all I even have it on combat mode I never have to grind because I'm underpowered is this normal? Does this game ever get harder?
If i complete a final fantasy playthrough amd clear save will i be able to do a new game plus on a different difficulty while keeping my ff mode gear or is it exclusive to ff mode?
I came to this video for one concern In my Action Focused playthrough i accidentally sold Ragnarok before I made gotterdamerung, in Final Fantasy mode will I get the chance to regain Ragnarok and the Dommer or have I fucked myself over and need to restart from the Action Focused..?
All weapons and armour can go to +4 then a reforged version (sort of a level 5) and the accessories can go to lvl 2 but you will need multiple of the standard accessory to craft it.
I didn't get Gotterdammerung on my first playthrough and I just begun the game in NG+ (stopped playing at the hideaway). I did all the hunts so I probably have every materials to craft it. Should I go back to my old save and restart NG+ with the weapon or I can craft it later?
You had to do at least Under New Management II or Undying Duty II as well. You will be short 1 Orichalcum if you don't, if you do both you will be up 1 Orichalcum. Luckily having 1 Orichalcum up looks like it'll help for crafting the new one. But it looks like having the old one will not help. Looks to be crafted from scratch like everything else.
Only go back & craft it if you’re struggling early on in FF difficulty. If you’re not, it gets replaced pretty early (right after Garuda iirc), and you’ll be able to make the Reforged version later on into NG+. Which should also give the trophy, not 100% sure on that part tho.
Why does games have to end is my question. How many times did i finish 7 or 8? I like the old way of adding playability to endgame and just linger before completing the game.
Why does every player must complete the game. Ok main story probably mostly yea but like doing all the fancy stuff why its ng+ why not added content before just go to the end. I think i have 1000 hours in ff10 save file.
So, play the game again with more enemies, not NEW enemies, just MORE enemies, and get better gear, but not DIFERENT gear, since is just "this sword has more damage than the previous one", there is nothing unique about them, nothing that changes how we play, in the end NG+ is almost the same as the regular game, but with a few more enemies to fight during main missions. I enjoyed the game and all, but the lack of ANY rpg system at all is really sad and frustrating, ive spent the entire game waiting for it to apear and never did, and since the "best sword in the game" has only "more damage" i guess NG+ is not going to change it at all, which is a damn shame.
They're not new enemies per se, but it is a novelty to fight enemies like the Chimera, which you only fight in the final 1/3 of the original run, right on the first mission.
The remixed enemies and higher HP pools does change the game though. Wonderful 101 has the same kind of NG+ where you keep your abilities but fight late game enemies in earlier areas, and have more challenging mixes of enemies throughout the game -- ON top of the enemies being more aggressive, a bit faster, and hitting harder.
You keep all your Eikons and can use them all from the start and there is also tons of equipment that can be upgraded more in NG+ (I wished it was harder tho)
@@robotoboy30 Seriously, people who say FF isn't harder are not playing it, or are running any of the brainless OP builds sitting back Megaflaring everything with lightning rod saying "It's not any harder."
Manually commanding Torgal gives way more control over combos & juggling enemies. He’s not for damage, the reason you want to command him is solely for spicing up your combos.
I love this game but I just now got through my first action focused playthrough. It sucks that you have to beat the entire game before it starts getting challenging. Ultimas should have been way harder with way less cutscenes and more fighting. If it was a three-stage battle with only combat and no cut scene, that would have been awesome!
I'm loving the mix of combat and cutscenes, it's a calming and intense play style. Also I'm playing diablo 4 at the same time so it's nice to go to FF16 and have a calmer experience than the chaos that diablo 4 has to offer LOL.
This game is amazing if u like action games. Story is pretty intriguing and combat is super fun. I’m not a huge fan of ff and only played ff7 remake. And this game has been beyond my expectation. Unless you don’t like action games, you won’t regret playing this game
Final Fantasy is the last difficulty of the game past the second playthrough, you can't upgrade it further, you can only play the game in Ultimaniac difficulty in arcade mode (always need to be in Final fantasy difficulty to select it)
I have not gotten to play the game yet and I'm not one to play games twice. But I did play the demo and was hoping a much harder mode would be available first playthrough. That being said, are you able to start final fantasy mode without doing NG+ or previous gear carrying over? Like a clean save file because if that's the case I might borrow a friends and play a clean ng on ff mode.
@@Def_Not_Batman FF is locked until the game is completed, the highest difficulty available on NG is Action Focused and that poses no challenge. FF Mode is also no challenge, it is only an increase in stats for enemies and nothing else, so fights just take like 30% longer

Yeah about that…
Imagine finishing Final Fantasy Mode and playing Action Focused mode with OP weapons and exp lvl and amulets. Would be finishing missions in seconds.

@@dman5501lmao, what retarded opinion.
Can you do multiple NG+ on the same file? And can you NG+ back to an easier difficulty once you beat FF mode? (Bringing The Ultima weapon?)
No and no again. It won’t stack up NG+ over NG+ game file as it asks u to choose the normal mode save game file from ur initial playthrough. All OP weapons locked behind NG+’s FF mode only.
Hopefully a future update will give us the option to switch off the HUD! This would be a welcome feature for all owners of OLED-TVs…
You will not have issues with burn in due to HUD on an OLED unless you're playing the game for like dozens of hours straight.
Is IS clickbait XD
Ofc it's clickbait, the experience is different because of the difficulty and fighting late game enemies from the beginning, but the story is the exact same from MQs to SQs so obviously it's not a radical difference except in terms of challenges.
It’s a little bit of a shame how late in NG+ you get the Ultima weapon. I think it would have been nice to have it at the start of the 2nd timeskip.
It's most likely intended for the Ultimaniac mode.

You couldn’t of handled it first play through
@@calumcarmichael8088 I tend to agree. Have some fun, enjoy the great story, and once you've learned the basics of the combat, jump right back in and truly enjoy everything the combat has to offer. I REPEAT. Having the hardest difficulty on first try is almost always the wrong choice. I've done it in so many games, and I never really understood the combat well enough to really take advantage the increased difficulty asked of me.

New game plus should have changed enemy ai and attacks for enemies should be more faster or different. It’s just spongey enemies.
That’s true. They are basically still the same. It’s not like they are more aggressive or anything.
but that would be too much work for the devs who had their hands full optimizing for a single console lol
They are more aggressive.
They are certainly more aggressive and do more damage
Idk what they meant by changes the entire game. It just brings mid-late game enemies into the game sooner like several games do. Also the ultima weapon crafting process is a bit dumb. You aren't able to craft it till the very end so you basically only have the final boss to use it on. At least in kh2 you have a whole additional area and a buncha Super bosses to use the weapon on. Kh3 does it even better and let's you carry it into ng+
Ultimaniac difficulty in arcade mode, it's literally the only thing you need op gear for anyway.
Do i need to go after the ultimate sword? Because in ff mode your damage you do against bosses is like a toothpick vs sequoia
Question: do the completed quests carry over? Or do they need to be recompleted? And if so, are they necessary for the Gottendammerung reforged/Ultima Weapon?
Sooo if i do a new game plus but on Action Focused..Does that slow down my EP or can i level up the same rate that i did my first walkthrough?
I had felt so accomplished completing my first play thru. I just started NG+ and already hate my life
I have to disagree quite a bit that New Game+ changes everything.
Do you keep rings from story focus mode

„Almost makes all these materials you pick up a bit pointless.“ Almost? It WAS pointless.
I agree, I’d wanna play it at a harder level with monsters who are my aggressive and harder move sets. Increased health is a cop out that most games seem to do. I also agree the biggest hurdle for me is the chore of the slow walking back and forth for the slower parts of the game

Wait so there's more enhanced gear past ng+ for accessories & stuff? Like +3 & +4 stuff? Anybody got a list of what equipment upgrades this far?
Which should also give the trophy, not 100% sure on that part tho.
you also missed the part where the cutscrean buttons are removed
dancing steel +50% zantetsuken buildup accessory on NG+ is absolutely broken.
Question can you do the DLC in the up game plus ?
I think you do given level cap increase in DLC.
Wow! Thanks for the elucidation on Final Fantasy Mode! I wasn't aware of the accessory upgrade and the difficulty spike in arcade mode!
Can someone please help me? What materials do you need to craft ice brand reforged in ng+ ffm?
When it’s available you can check it at the blacksmith. If you don’t have all the materials it will be lower down the list

Cap. It’s just a bit harder and you get ultima weapon at the end
