- This is our last truck purchase of the year, I swear! Finally took delivery of a new F-450 after a long wait. his truck was ordered in October of 2023.

I’ve currently been stressing about my business debt but I think about how much my business grew by putting my self in debt.

You and I are on the exact same path. 99.9% of what you said in the video is what I'm going through. Started in 2019 as well. Sometimes this path is questionable but hard to see myself doing anything else. Keep grinding Tom. You're doing great my friend.

I bought a 2017 ford f350 and it’s been a nightmare. About 20k worth of repairs in 9 months. I should’ve bought a new truck with warranty.

what is the wheelbase of your new truck because I see you have extended cab and not a huge dump bed which is great for plowing snow love your engine choice. Diesel not needed. All we do is drive around in circles. Doing basic maintenance. Can idle it in the winter all day long

Debt is scary! But as long as you have work coming in it makes it easier to think about. Your equipment is what makes you the money at the end of it all so it’s a worthwhile investment. I always think about the interest rates with debt if i can get a low enough rate it makes sense to go for it. Payments are nice on one hand as you can keep more cash around in case of a rainy day as opposed to buying things out right, your cash is gone!

I know you're in head over heels debt by the looks of it! Hopefully you never have a bad stretch because you WILL have to pay back that business debt it's not a get out of jail free card.

Where do you find your employees? I’m sure some a referrals from current staff. But where are you finding people? We’re paying $20+ per hour and still can’t find good help for our lawn care crew.

I always put down half the value of purchase, loan for the rest , payment not as large ,if things go sour you can sell the truck instantly pay off loan with sale to get out of hot water I do not listen to the salesman they want to sell you the biggest loan possible that’s bullshit. You really need to go find yourself a piece of commercial property. It will set you up financially in much better position tax wise you will always have enough deductions now with new property without purchasing equipment to satisfy tax obligations

How do you go about building business credit? Been having a hard time i have a great personal credit score and good income to show but they keep denying me and don't tell why.
People are silly if they hate on debt lmao they mad bc they were only given a $200 credit card from the banks…the world revolves around borrowed money lmao it’s such a useful tool and that’s how a LOT of even HUGE businesses operate. If the numbers are right why be out the liquid cash?
