Ngl, Snowmobiling has to be one of the most invigorating, adrenaline pumping sports ever. I do both Skiing and Snowmobiling and I have to say that winter/Spring snow sports will always give you the feeling of “oh I might shit myself.”, at first, but after doing them a few times and learning crazy shit like steep jumps, you’re set.
I have this on VHS somewhere, which means this is an old slednecks or roops of hazard video, a lot of footage in those films was in the Whistler, Pemberton, Squamish area and a bunch in Alaska.
You Guys are NUTS!!! I would watch you all day but I value my life a bit more and would be happy to help with CPR or whatever... LOL Makes me miss home and I am Glad to see this video bring Alaska Boys Extreme Snow Machining to the world... All you see on here is lower 48 & some is good but most is weak... BTW... The rule at the Cabin is you can no longer say "Hey Watch This" as we will then spend the next few hours in the ER.... Love you guys and Go Alaska!!!!
All I gotta say is WOW!! Got Sum Hair On There Nuts! Lmfao!! For each jump they were in the air for about the length of a Football Field, Some looked like a damn quarter mile!! Thats just crazy man, and not only that, some of them slopes looked fresh for Avalanches. People Are Awesome! Thanks for sharing
Its funny how when your friends says they are in racing, then you invite them to go riding in the back-country then you own them, then in 3 days they have a whole new respect for you! its kind of odd how that happens.
1. Lots and Lots of practice learning how to manipulate a machine in midair, usually with pits filled with foam blocks so they dont get injured. 2. There is a lot of engineering in the jumps, ESPECIALLY in the professional ones (Slednecks, 509 films, ect) with all the ramps and landings measured, and with specific speeds they have to hit them at. Everything past that is #1 3. It's also important to note that the machines they ride have very expensive mods, and they wear expensive safety gear.
I think it does have this clip at the beginning of Slednecks 7 but the group of riders, at least the main one is part of Turnagain Hardcore. Own both DVD's. Look at his sled, has big letters that says Turnagain Hardcore.
i have always wanted to go snowmobiling looks like a mix of snowboarding/skiing/four-wheeler riding all in one and three times as dangerous im planing a trip with a buddy of mine up in NH any tips for us would be awesome ive been skiing snow boarding dirt bike riding atvs but snowmobiling looks like a totally different ocean of awesomeness so if anybody has tips basic learning and basic major cautions please tell me id rather have an idea of something then nothing lol
Extremely talented and seemingly fearless riders. Mad props guys, keep it up.
