    Mena has been on a roll for awhile I thought he was darn near unbeatable after watching a lot his matches. It figures challengers would have to beat him with mirror characters to his picks. Good match.

    Jammers is so knowledgeable. But I've never gotten used to his voice. It drives me crazy.

    The real Wong Factor

    We need more offline premiere, fuk all this online BS that's regional lock its stupid, 70% of the best players are in japan and only 2 or 3 at most can qualify for a tournament with 64 players. That's why CC in 2022 had a bunch of players that didn't even belong in there with the best meanwhile other players that definitely would have been a threat was watching from the sidelines

      We really need more matches in a set. Bo5 would be great. I know that it would be longer, but for the 60 left. Matches are going way faster than previous titles.

      This would just leave a lot of regions with players who can't travel as much in the dust. I understand that Japan is great, but other regions deserve just as many chances to qualify.

      Dude best japanese got bodied in this tournament top 8 one japanese Fuudo who was free for mena

    • @MS-ql8ek
      @MS-ql8ek 9 місяців тому +1

      @dr.indianajones9558 Fuudo ain't the best player in japan and Mena is the only player in DR that could make a statement, Punk and Du are also top players in the US, other then that everyone else is good but not Mena level. Fchamp is also very strong but we know woke capcom and the feelings of soft people won't unban him. I heard that the reason why there weren't many Japanese players here was because they all had flight issues, Kakeru wasn't even here. I'm just saying they need more offline premieres so that real players can make it in not just some good player from his region

      i feel that Capcom want to promote underdog factor.

    how come chris won, they both won a set right? why chris won at the end?

    • @crimsoncookiemonster

      It's a double elimination tournament, Mena was already in the losers bracket, Chris was in the winners bracket, thus Chris could afford to lose a single set, Mena could not.

      @Bloody_Nine. 9 місяців тому +4

      Because Mena is in the loser brackets (he already lost to someone)
      Mena needs to win 2 sets and ChrisWong just need to win one (he is in winers side)

      @@crimsoncookiemonster thanks man. it seems mena so menacing, every time there's error on chris part, he was toast.

    Gut-wrenching loss for MenaRD. He should've switched to his JP or Luke after Chris Wong had the Blanka reads down.

      Mena is or 'was' a very sore loser to which he deserved to be humbled from time to time. Just like punk does as he is no exception.

    High Tier won again...thx capcom.

    • @ironknit
      @ironknit 9 місяців тому +4

      A high tier would've won either way

    • @arsonne
      @arsonne 9 місяців тому

      High tiers win often in any fighting game ever made. Players that play for money play good characters. It's pretty obvious. If you're a mechanic you wouldn't go to work with plastic tools, and people that play video games for money don't play bad characters.

      @@Windcito Yep, nothing is more disgusting and boring than a throw loop 50/50 in the corner. That's how Menard won his first set.
