He has unmatched screen control with actual full screen normals, can convert every hit into okizeme that lets him get a combo off throw, and has the best guard break sequences in the game. Along with a DP and a guard cancel with a huge hitbox, his 4M special can cover a huge spot on the screen, leads to guard breaks, and does good damage.
The game didn't live enough (with a healthy amount of players) so that people could actually find out characters strengths and weaknesses to a point that tier lists became more accurate.
