Extreme - Thicker Than Blood - Live at Newcastle O2 City Hall 27.11.23

Boston rockers Extreme kicked off the UK leg of the Thicker Than Blood tour at the O2 City Hall in Newcastle. Guitarist Nuno Bettencourt promised fans that the band would try out a 'new' song before introducing Thicker Than Blood, from 2023 album Six.

This was a great gig. Living Color were amazing too. First time I've seen either band live but always liked them and loved their guitarists. Next gig for me is seeing Eric Clapton at the Arena in Newcastle next year. I'm hoping Judas Priest tour for their new record too since they cancelled the tour with Ozzy 3 times over the past few years.

Hello, I have tickets for the Bristol gig on Sunday. Could anyone tell me what time Extreme started to play and how long they play? In my ticket only says "7.00pm" so I'm assuming that 7.00pm is when the door will open 🤔

They came on around 9pm and played until 11pm. Living Color came on stage around 8:15pm which was late due to a wardrobe malfunction. The lead singer's pants shrunk from the cold and it took him ages to stretch them out enough to wear on stage. He was constantly adjusting them and made a bit of a joke out of it. All in all it was a great gig despite the delay.
