Reborn North East rockers Baby Rattlesnakes rolled out a career-spanning set on their return to Trillians - two decades after a breakout year that saw the quartet tour the UK, claim a Kerrang! Battle Of The Bands title and release new music.

Reformed and revitalised North East rockers Baby Rattlesnakes revisited the scene of some of their greatest triumphs with a 20th anniversary show at Trillians. Crowd favourite Insomnia proved to be the wake-up call Newcastle needed on a Tuesday in November.

One of the highlights of a thrilling homecoming show, Edge Of The World appears on 2023's Bloodlines album. NWOBHM pioneers Tygers Of Pan Tang came out of Whitley Bay, North Tyneside in the late 70s and returned to perform at the seaside town's Playhouse Theatre as part of a November 2024 UK headline run.

I Don’t Love You Anymore, first released on The Quireboys’ debut album A Bit Of What You Fancy, brought down the curtain on the band’s Wardour Street album release party at Hexham’s Queen’s Hall. Featuring Pete Shoulder (The Union), Harry James (Thunder), Christian Heilmann, Willie Dowling and Cerys Jones alongside Spike and Nigel Mogg.

The Quireboys celebrated the upcoming release of new album Wardour Street with a special ‘homecoming’ show in the Northumberland town of Hexham - a few miles from where frontman Spike spent his teenage years in Corbridge. Spike played a brief solo set after the interval and recalled how this was one of the first songs Alex Glasgow taught him to play.

The Quireboys celebrated the launch of 2024 album Wardour Street with a special ‘homecoming’ show at Hexham’s Queen’s Hall - featuring a short solo set from Spike. The Geordie frontman opened the second half of the show by revealing he was working on a new folk album with Pete Shoulder and played this cover of the Ralph McTell classic Streets Of London.

London-based North East singer songwriter Katie Grace debuts new song Dead On The Floor at Camden’s Dublin Castle.
