Think what winds me up the most about product companies is when they try and make out the pole is the only way to margin fish with a float why don't they release a video for rod and reel

Looks like a great method that Pete has done very well with over the years. The “Meat Bashers” we legendary in the South of the UK. What hooks were being used at they don’t look like the Kaizen? Also was the the new Guru Carp Pole we are all expecting in 2021?

Everyone has their own style of fishing. It certainly doesn't seem to stop Pete from catching😉
@@TackleguruTV This has nothing to do with style and ability, simply the posture created by the box angle will be detrimental to the body regardless of talent.

Watched a video on Facebook with Tommy Pickering and he was saying if you have your footplate flat but you box slanted forward it forces your feet to remain flat and takes the weight off your lower back. I still can’t bring myself to set mine up that way, looks wrong.
Would you drop your bait a couple of inches up the slope to allow any roll down the slope to where your hook bait is
Hi Russell, we try to avoid this as it creates a lot of slack line which can cause you to miss bites from fish👍

Good video pete 👍 so are you using end pullers for the extra elastic it gives ? Diawa top kits a short compared to most makes. Are you using the match kits ?

@@TackleguruTV ok so is he using end puller bungs rather than side pullers for the extra few inches of elastic ?
He says it’s just a personal preference, feels like he is in more control of the fish when playing them on the top kit, rather than there being a side pulled in the way👍

I would like to start fishing with pole for big carps. Haven't found any video of fishing in deep water (15feet) and how to land big carp with a pole with elastic. Any info would be helpful. Thx

Bottom puller just looks so wrong. The angle of the elastic is just ugly. Great video otherwise, cheers.

Tell me how you are ment to put 30lb carp in a keepnet ? This tells me you havnt a clue at what you are talking about and thats why your comment is stupid

I've been to commercials and some of they fish are absolutely battered where people have ripped the hooks out of their mouths I've even seen them kick fish back into the water. And with big carp. Match fishermen wouldnt think twice about putting a mid 20lb carp in a keepnet

So. You go to a man made lake, over filled with fish, they have to feed on your bait as their isn’t enough natural bait and you have to put aerators in the water due to many fish and you think that’s good. Shame on you.
and this is the type of fishing that batters the mouths of carp :(
No that would be carp rods and braided hooklenghs. This amount of pressure wouldn't cause damage
And totally knackers water quality. Luncheon meat takes forever to break down and contains so much grease and oil. Should be banned on all fisheries
@@benhughes6812 they love the stuff. I fish a water that sees a lot of meat and the fish are in perfect condition. Never once had an issue with water quality. If a water is stocked well enough it will all get eaten. Under stocking is the issue and that's when you will start getting poor water quality due to rotten meat on the bottom. Seems to me like you've read it somewhere and then decided to jump on the band wagon without knowing the facts 🤔
@@rikkiegglesden5295 I run a commercial fishery so not jumping on the band wagon at all and your comments regarding stocking are off. Meat is bad for water quality period hence why a lot of fisheries have now banned it, limit the number of tins that can be used or allow it on the hook only
