Same thing happened to me like a couple weeks ago. I was down and sad for sure, but got over her in like 2 days. I expressed my feelings (knowing deep down exactly how it's all gonna go) just to get it off my chest. She was cool with it all but didn't want anything obviously. Then like a week later she ended up with a new dude hahah. I said to myself 'yep, you will be unhappy for the rest of your life and there's nothing I can do'. So I just removed her from social media and forgot we ever met.

As a male growing up, I always believed in true love, I met my crush in high school and I was her first love and she was mine. I always stood by her side and invested so much of myself into her. We promised that we will wait until marriage and lose our virginity together. After high school, she moved to a different college and I began attending a trade school. I tried my best to make it work and so did her. Couple weeks later I found out she was cheating on me, it was even with someone far older than her. He was married, yet she still fell for him, they eventually had sex and he dumped her soon after. After we broke up, I realized that love doesn't exist, it's just a myth. I've learnt to cut off emotions towards women. The truth is no one is gonna stay faithful, women will always look for someone of higher market value and keep repeating the cycle. I suggest living life and focusing on yourself and your goals.
I'd suggest leaning off the UA-cam copium. Love isn't a static thing its an act, and marriage is an agreement. Women only look for someone else if they are unhappy or unsatisfied with their current relationship, distance is obviously a huge part of that.
I felt much the same at one point. Although I've seen the cycle played out a lot more in women I know and the girls I've dated than you likely have... it's not a reason to despair. It's a reason to change yourself and be different from the crowd. The crowd is stupid, and women follow the crowd more often... look where that gets them.
Try to help and respect fellow men. Be a father, a good brother, or a mentor. Be a strong man because the younger ones need an example.
Women are just going to on average be more and more promiscuous and depressed. Men will become lonlier, depressed, and likely more unpredictable as time goes on. It will plateau eventually, but who knows what society looks like at that time. The LGBT movement and imaginations of the media/social media companies here in the U.S. will cause depression, mental illness, less children, general discontent, and unhappiness. Not to mention the lobbyists and large corporations that cause all sorts of explicit as well as more implicit damages to rights and freedoms.
What I'm getting at is that there is a shortage of exceptional people especially men. It's easy to give up and say all women this or all men that... it's not easy to be the one that breaks that cycle. The resentment needs to end somewhere with someone.

I think that study is BS. How is one guy going to provide for his 17 wives back in the stone age? Or how is he going to trick or force 16 other men to provide for his hoes? You're right, many of the rest can have some major issues, even though I've learned some important things from these others.

I think the biggest problem is that a lot of people who are heavily involved with these subjects have gone through numerous negative experiences, which heavily shapes their perspective for the worse. In turn, they give blanket statements about how a massive population is a certain way...when it may or may not be true for all people within that demographic.
For example: Most people on this platform believe that all women are hypergamous (I hope I spelled that right lol) and want to be validated through social media avenues such as instagram, twitter, vsco or whatever people use. Although that's true for a massive population of girls...what about girls who are very pretty but aren't on those platforms because they realize that having the attention from lots of strangers isn't important to them? What if they don't want to be found, because they genuinely don't want to be associated with being promiscuous and they're actually a good person? They're harder to find because they're not constantly in your face, but they do exist.
I could go on with a couple more examples, but my point is: there are too many different factors and variations to make a one-size-fits-all assumption about an entire group of people. Yes, there will always be reoccurring principles that apply to a vast majority of people, but everybody likes different things and will hold those things to of higher importance than a different demographic would...if they do at all. In summary, everybody wants similar things like love, companionships, purpose, fulfillment, etc....but everybody requires those wants & needs to be fullfilled throughout different dimensions of their lives. Hopefully that makes sense?

@@Anastazka00 men fall in love more easily and fall out of love harder compared to women I think (you probably already know that 70-80% of divorces and break ups are initiated by women, and they're significantly pickier when it comes to choosing a partner). We just want love, peace of mind, and physical intimacy, and that's it.
So when we 'settle,' it's not even really settling, because we don't have this tendency of thinking that love is a competition and we have to get the best, hottest, richest partner accessible to us, and when we are in a relationship, we don't compare our partners to others and think about how we could've had someone more attractive and regret the relationship.
It's women who see love as a competition and lovers as either competitors or prizes. We see love as connection, a blessing that makes life a poem, comfort and humanity.
But sooner or later most of us wake up to the fact that women don't (maybe even can't) love as we do. They love us as someone would love a fast, expensive car. We are loved because we are useful and we are also wanted by others for reasons like looks, height, or success so they can show us off, and the moment we aren't that anymore, their love dies or at least diminishes. It's almost inevitable, because no one can live up to the fantasies of a 'perfect partner' someone has forever.

Id love to see studies on how female attractiveness corresponds to emotional maturity and development. At 54, I've found that the more attractive a female is, the more confident, assertive, and successful they are relative to their actual intelligence and capabilities. The attractive women I've known have achieved results easier than their less attractive counterparts, seemingly because their bars for success are lower; thus they neither have to challenge themselves as much to succeed, nor do they have to learn to be nice or kind to be socially accepted, in comparison to their less attractive counterparts. They are allowed to progress through the ranks of society at a faster pace, with easier success thresholds, by those hoping to score attention from them. This is simply my observation, and it may not stand true for all societies, but it has always been my contention that human sexual behavior dictates the basis for all human interaction and social hierarchy, and society in general simply places different labels on the states of human behavior for the manipulation of personal and political gain.

Like, if someone it’s from, say, Mexico, Egypt, Nigeria, Brazil, Romania, India, or Indonesia, they can’t legitimately expect that the findings of a study done in a country that don’t share their same culture to be replicated in those countries as well. So there is probably many fragmented families out there despite Finland being a rich country that follows the nordic model.

I skipped two grades, so was on average 1-3 years younger than my peers and have been through university as well, and even though I lost mine at 15, I "waited", if you please. I am generally afraid of men, and I avoid them, politely. I avoid forming relationships with men because they all seem to want 'extra'. The drama for men is the family background, which has been historically quite traditionalist, especially in male figures. All that being said though, isn’t this entirely consistent with how we are evolutionarily programmed? Legalization of prostitution and access to escorts is the only immediate solution (or one of the solutions) that can solve this issue. It re-regulates the sexual market value, and fixes the inflated and overrated prices that women charge men in the dating market these days, increases the abundance mindset of men and peace of mind in having access to sex (not that necessarily men need to use it, but just having legal prostitution and availability and accessibility of sex improves the abundance mindset)
I don't know man, but having access to prostitutes doesn't develop abundance mindset in some men ( me included). While it's great that you can have sex wherever you want, one of the most important things in sex for me is to know that girls wants me and hookers eliminate that.

Also think that even for a married couple, then the wife may not easily threat the husband by withdrawing the sex and getting all power in the relationship that way. The situation in Finland is bad. All the leaders of the parties in government are led by whamen. So basically the country is led with emotions and feelings. No one is thinking of the long term effects and the country's future looks dire. End result is going to affect population, and the western population is already a global minority about 1/7th of the total population. Yes marriage rates are dropping too and thats bad but people are much less likely to get divorced now than 20 years ago. So obviously--what we see in these trends is unsustainable. These societies are headed for implosion and collapse. All this seems to be aided and abetted by the relentless propaganda--in media and entertainment--that is only designed to push the envelope further toward cultural unsustainability and collapse. In some instances--particularly Western Europe--a replacement population with sustainable family values and birth rates has already been imported--whether for the purpose of hastening cultural demise and collapse or to eventually fill in for the population which is breeding itself out of existence--or both.
As with the traditional Chinese curse, "may you live in interesting times" has become a reality for all in the West.

Men pay almost all tax and women consume almost all of government benefits, unless you count prison housing as a benefit. Men earn more because on average they work a lot of overtime, women earn less because on average they work less than full time. But women have significantly more purchasing power than men. Men are directed to the most dangerous situations for the benefit of women. Patriarchy exists to benefit women.
