You people are godsends for so many animals. I've followed Kaavan and the change in him is beyond words. I wish every captive elephant would be found and helped as you did for Kaavan. You are earth angels. 💙😇🐘

Moving from 0.5 acres to 16 acres must be amazing for him.
They don't mention anything about his social interactions with the other elephants. Isn't that one of the primary reasons for the move ?
@@austinl.2703I was hoping to see that, too, but nothing again! Does he have a remain alone all his life and why! Gentle soul had a mate in the ugly place and he went thru hell with her laying there dead and chained so he couldn't go to her. Now alone. They made it sound like they made strides to have him with one of the females. Must be treachrous for him, and why is it still going on?
@@patriciagranger9707I've seen him standing there with another elephant like very close to each other in an open space but they're blocked off from each other by huge stone pillars tho or whatever those things are called! I seen Kavvan's trunk reaching out & touching that other elephant so it's kinda good news & hopefully there's more of that in his life there at that sanctuary in Cambodia 🙏🙏🙏🤞🤞🤞💯💯💯
Many people are asking why Kaavan isn’t sharing his space with other elephants. From other videos earlier in his new home I’ve seen his caretakers trying to introduce him to the 3 females but it didn’t go well. He and they can still communicate and spend time through large gaps in the fence that allow them to feed from the same dishes. Now that his physical and mental health are so improved, they are hoping that the time when they can all be safe and content together will come soon. We have to remember that he was completely alone for so long, and that adult males usually spend a lot of time on their own, so it may not be possible for him to form normal elephant relationships, but we can hope

I can’t watch this. He’s images of burned into my brain forever. I hope others I don’t know him fall in love with him and have it all new respect for eles and permanently change our ways.
It was a frustrating and painfully slow process that went on for years trying to get this sweet boy out of that wicked zoo. I wish they would release all those animals into sanctuary‘s and burn that evil place to the ground. How he is now compared to then is no comparison. I was concerned that if we ever did finally did get him released that he was too emotionally broken to ever heal again but I was proven wrong and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much for taking him into your family. My endless tears for him are now tears of joy. He has a permanent place in my heart and has for years. Namaste

Makes me soo happy. After years of me crying now my dearest Kaavan is happy and safe. But what you think about the terrible elephant 🐘 deaths in India by trains. And Indian people througing stones to abandoned animals ?? It's also heartbreaking. Anything could be done. Last week several were murdered by trains. Look at the videos . Heartbreaking. Please 🙏 try to help to build corridors for them. Thank you .

Four paws are brilliant, the work they do for animals is exceptional I've followed kavaan right from the begining and he does look settled and blossoming, but is he with the girls or still on his own
He’s still on his own. The 2 girls are still grieving the loss of their friend, but they DO like him, and they are able to visit him wherever they want.
Please save more elephants. It is so beautiful to see the environment created for Kaavan's use.

Such a beautiful story. I hope he has an elephant friend or companion. Elephants are "family" animals. I think males are more solitary than females, but elephants need companionship.
