I think Jerry's problem is that he is incredibly complacent. In another dimension he was apparently an awarded actor who did cocaine with Johnny Depp. In Cronenberg world or Prime Earth, he became the sole survivor of the human race and was able to live a content life. In Doofus Rick's world, he became one of the most menacing people in the series. The only dimensions he sucks in are the ones where he is least semi content with his life. He doesn't feel the need to achieve anything and kind of gives up on himself. Every other life that he hates, he is just *that guy* .
That’s the sad thing about Jerry: he has so much potential, and because of comfortability he never feels the need to grow as a person. And I think that’s why people dislike Jerry so much, they’re just like him, people who feel battered and bruised and never had the chance to reach their full potential.

I really cannot wait what Jerry 5126 have in season 7, as he's by far the character with most progression so far.

Comic only character who may not even be canon. A Jerry from the same dimension as Doofus Rick who is smart, successful, and villainous. Becomes an antagonist and gives Rick and the Citadel a run for their money, but is ultimately defeated.
