      You talk about LGBT rights being very important to you. It's the first thing you mention. Where in the West are LGBT rights suppressed? Nowhere. Where are they suppressed? Your two favorite countries: Palestine and China. You're such a hypocrite.

    • @haynesdevon0

      @defunctuserchannel how many gay Palestinians you think Isreals ended? Bet it's more then Hemas. And you call someone else a hypocrite? As for China maybe use logic. The LGBT community isn't "oppressed" by the CCP its "oppressed" by is Disney and corporations who hide the flaunting of it for profit. And the only reason you think its oppression is cus your so used to the special treatment and having corporations push your world view. The lack of self awareness is mind numbing.

    Hi Pepe, it's nice talk to you.
    The Brazilian government is in a gigantic internal struggle against the extremely high interest rate caused by the sabotage of the Central Bank by the rentier financial elite who do not want to see Lula leveraging the economy, implementing social policies and resolving countless historical problems. Wouldn't this be an important factor why the government is not treating BRICS as a priority? I believe so. Thanks to the channel. Thank you, Pepe.

    Fun Fact about the Russia: It was Russia who saved The Union during the American Civil War as they sent their Navy to San Francisco and New York when England and France were just about to enter the war on the side of the Confederates since London created the Confederates. France was already in Mexico making a spear head movement to resupply the Confederates and to open up a Pacific Theatre and to create a port in California. England already amassed 11,000 troops and growing stationed at their Northern Confederacies border now called Canada ready to open a Northern Theatre to divert Union troops away from their Southern Confederacy then to attack The Unions naval blockade. The Union would have been completely destroyed and annexed by those two great powers leaving the Confederates to exist as either a puppet state of London or to be fully brought back into the fold of the British Empire.
    London was already courting (threatening/bribing) other countries to get involved like Spain while Russia was in talks with Prussia to ally with incase London was to intervene.
    Seeing all of this Tsar Alexander II wrote a letter to Queen Victoria saying “If you enter in this war it will be a casus belli for all out war with the Russian Empire”. The stage was set for the 1st World War and Russia stopped it.
    There is also a memorial in San Francisco for the hundreds of Russian sailors who came off their Asiatic fleet ships that died while helping the city put out a fire that threatened to lay waste to it during the War.

    • @JPJ432
      @JPJ432 Місяць тому +8

      The Russian fleet also threatened to Shell Australian ports along with other British Pacific Colonies if Britain aided the Confederates. A confederate war ship spent a lot of time in Australian waters and was supported by the Australian public, some even signing on as crew members. This Confederate war ship laid waist to the US Pacific whaling fleet and is reported to have fired the last shot in the war. The name of the ship was called the CSS Shenandoah. Its surrender was at Liverpool England where Confederate Commander Bulloch was stationed.
      Bulloch was the head spy Chief for the Confederates and main go between for London, Montreal, and Richmond. He was heavily involved in the finance of the South with British banking and supplied the south with its warships as most of them were made by the British. He was good friends with those who drafted the Very discriminatory Confederate Constitution and those that would later create the 'Clan'. He was also heavily involved in the assassinations of Lincoln and his cabinet members. He was Also the Uncle to President Theodore Roosevelt (on his mothers side of course) and Teddy greatly looked up to him and learned much from him from a very early age. Teddy called him 'Uncle Jimmy'. This is where Teddy Roosevelt got the idea for the 'Eff Bee Eye' he modeled it almost exactly from Londons 'Em Eye Five'.
      Russia also helped Thailand (Kingdom of Siam) maintain its sovereignty from being completely Partitioned/Annexed from the British and French around the same time. The very word Thai (ไทย) means 'free man' in the Thai language which is partially to thank to the Russians as they might have ended up being a colony or part of another country/colony if not for their intervention.

    • @olliefoxx7165
      @olliefoxx7165 Місяць тому

      That's PREPOSTEROUS! The Russians had NOTHING to do with the American Civil War. I'm not anti-Russian in any way but this is propagandist nonsense. Russia was to far away to do anything in America. The Crimean War had just been concluded and Russis was simply not in any condition to do anything especially tens of thousands miles away. If any foreign power had tried to intervene they would have been defeated. This is ridiculously uninformed nonsense.

      @@olliefoxx7165I think you will enjoy this quote from the Russian Foreign Minister Alexander Gorchakov writing to Lincoln in the Autumn of 1862 a year and a half into the war-
      "You know that the government of United States has few friends among the Powers. England rejoices over what is happening to you; she longs and prays for your overthrow. France is less actively hostile; her interests would be less affected by the result; but she is not unwilling to see it. She is not your friend. Your situation is getting worse and worse. The chances of preserving the Union are growing more desperate. Can nothing be done to stop this dreadful war? The hope of reunion is growing less and less, and I wish to impress upon your government that the separation, which I fear must come, will be considered by Russia as one of the greatest misfortunes. Russia alone, has stood by you from the first, and will continue to stand by you. We are very, very anxious that some means should be adopted-that any course should be pursued-which will prevent the division which now seems inevitable. One separation will be followed by another; you will break into fragments."

    • @JPJ432
      @JPJ432 Місяць тому +7

      @@olliefoxx7165 Here is another quote I think you will like but from Tsar Alexander II in an Interview after the war:
      "In the Autumn of 1862, the governments of France and Great Britain proposed to Russia, in a formal but not in an official way, the joint recognition by European powers of the independence of the Confederate States of America. My immediate answer was: "I will not cooperate in such action; and I will not acquiesce. On the contrary, I shall accept the recognition of the independence of the Confederate States by France and Great Britain as a casus belli for Russia. And in order that the governments of France and Great Britain may understand that this is no idle threat; I will send a Pacific fleet to San Francisco and an Atlantic fleet to New York."

    I believe, even if the pursuit of a multipolar world can be countries is substantially stifled economically and militarily, it can't be defeated. The reason being its first and foremost it's a concept that's not predicated on any one or a small group
    of individual country's success. As Putin said during his Valdi speech, (paraphrasing,) ." people are entitled to their own civilization and identity." That's not something colonizers can ever permit.

    The way Pepe describes the situation in Eurasia gives what the neocons and neolibs have said about it. They say the same thing about the SCO and BRICS which is they can't organize themselves past the differences they have amongst themselves. It looks like Eurasina union, SCO, BRICS and ASEAN have some members that take it seriously and some not at all. Putin and his team in Russia don't come along that often in the world and can't hold it together forever. Once Russia defeats Ukraine a lot of the enthusiasm will die away and it's obvious nobody cares about Palestine. Their window to organize this has a shorter clock than we might think

    Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) was a strong economical group but a weak political group.
    Now with Ethiopia, Egypt, UAE, KSA and Iran, the group is still strong but politically, it's a no sens vision!
    We know that it can not survive only economically!

    I am from Brazil. I am a progressive marxist.
    My question about Orban, Le Pen and Meloni was because they are organized alongside Trump in a conservative nationalist rhetoric that address the internal politics of their countries. I understand the rise of these leaderships is a result of the failed neoliberal social democracy project of the EU and US that took the leftist title and warped it until it lost all meaning. But I cannot help but be skeptical of them because Orban especially is very close to the Bolsonaro clan here in Brazil. Bolsonaro said multiple times that he wanted to do to Brazil what Orban did in Hungary. But the thing is, Bolsonaro is incompetent, he is too corrupt, a fake conservative with multiple failed marriage, kids out of wedlock, raised Catholic but converted christian in time for elections. His rhetoric about nationalism was a complete lie. He never had any interest in Brazilian sovereignty. He sold out important Brazilian assets to foreigner interests for personal gains. If this is the kind of ally Orban endorses, I cannot believe he is a rational and truthful player.
    I think there is dispute between old money and new money in the world elites.
    I also think the left-right label is still valid in LatAm. Here the left is more organized in comparison for sure. But we are in danger of loosing meaning too. I adore president Lula, he is a powerhouse, but he has limitations, hence why Brazil participation in BRICS is not on full blast (even though I believe we are quietly participating in everything). Lula cannot turn his back to the west cold turkey. The multinodal world needs to bury the rules based order before Brazil can be more bold in its movements. We are too geographically close to the empire and there is too many empire managements here ready to sabotage Brazil again if needed.

      Yeah they were lost on that one.
      There is still a Left in Europe, it may not be as popular as those liberals, but it still exists and raging.
      They are in many order of magnitudes wrong on this subject, suprising for Pepe who travels around the world and knows what's going on, and Danny who is self identifying as a leftist - but sadly don't know that much.
      I mean, Internationalism is a thing, we should be aware of any leftist movement abroad.

Remember that books have introductions and films with sequels also provide a visual and verbal recap on previous films in the series. Great discussion . The issue is global capitalism and its voracious appetite for an economic host. The pivot toward the East is about a growing Asian market and the opportunity to grow more wealth for capitalism. Moreover, the global capitalist have NATO as their military arm to “remove Chinese hegemony” in the region. The pivot toward the East is away from Europe. So, I don’t think that Trump will resist the goals of the global capitalist.
