    I enjoy these unscripted videos much more than all the other videos out there. Just an ordinary person fumbling around their new car and discovering new things on the go, and figuring out how things work.

      WHAT!! I spend days scripting, rehearsing, polishing my performance and editing 🤣🤣🤣🤣 (kidding of course)

    Typical VW build quality…and for 72K… didn’t anyone at VW see the velcro issue?

  • @keithshayle7027
    @keithshayle7027 Рік тому +3

    With the platforms in place you could have problems with objects sliding all the way to the end of the boot. The OCD in me would be going mad at the Velcro/carpet incident! I would be straight away hoovering brushing etc...

    • @RealBuzzLife
      @RealBuzzLife  Рік тому

      Because the fixing points are only at the sides you can push long objects to the far end. I just have to be careful not to get things stuck there because it takes about 20 minutes to remove the dog crate and 2 platforms.

    Great looking car but VW really need to sort their piece of junk infotainment system out especially considering this vehicle costs in excess of £70k. Hope you enjoy your new vehicle - good luck

    That Velcro detail in the boot is shocking, somebody didn’t think about that very well , it’s not practical at all.

    One of the selling points of the Buzz, was that the rear seats could be folded down, creating a resting/ sleeping space for a couple of retired people, who need their afternoon naps. Up to several times a year, we actually carry three or more people in a vehicle, so it is good to have rear seats.
    Regarding the towing hitch. In Norway, a car would be almost unsaleable if it doesn't allow a utility trailer to be towed. Our trailer has a boggie (4 wheels) and can pull about 1 600 kg, in addition to its mass of almost 400 kg. The buzz is only capable of towing 1 000 kg. So our vehicle will have the same type of hitch that you have. It cost about NOK 14 000 = ca. GB£ 1 200. I imagine that some of us will not be allowed to carry building supplies inside the Buzz, and these will have to be pulled on a trailer.

    That hook is known as a curry hook in the business. Personally would keep the curry in the front!. Good luck with your channel!

    Thanks so much for another very interesting video. I'm particularly enjoying your 'real time' discovery of your beautiful Buzz (for me, far more practical and useful than the pre-prepared new car info that's typically available on UA-cam). I was intrigued to see you have a jack - does the Buzz come with a spare wheel (a rarity these days!) or was it an extra as well? Thanks again!

    • @RealBuzzLife
      @RealBuzzLife  Рік тому +1

      It doesn’t have a spare wheel, they are run-flats. But as we will be getting winter tyres for it on an extra set of wheels we’ll need it twice a year and we didn’t have one.

    I do like the ID Buzz. I'm looking forward to the camper version (I think 2025). I've got a Cupra Born (also built by VW Automotive Group) - it's on the same MEB platform and has the same underlying technology. Infotainment in the MEB cars is a bit buggy and slow. Actual car build quality is great tho. I like the colour combo you went for.

      Nice choice, I’m trying to get my husband to buy the Cupra Born, but he wants an estate car next. 😮

    Nice buzz but I think VW are taken the piss charging there customers extra for the three pin charging cable after you’ve already spent over £70k on there EV car.I noticed this was there tactic when I looked at the id3 last year I ended up buying a Hyundai Kona Electric with everything included plus better range, VW have a lot to learn.

      These videos finally got us to move from wishing we had an ID Buzz to getting to the show rooms and making some hard choices. After about week of debates and numerous phone calls to finance companies (VW's 10.5% is crazy) we finally decided to walk away when we were told our two tone choice Buzz at over £65000 would be here is 18-24 months. Sorry VW this car is simply too much and too late for us. 😞

    Why does it have armrests in the boot/back? 🤔

    Terrible boot design for such a lovely looking vehicle. German engineers overthink things. The raised boot platform and parcel shelf will have permanent residence in your house I guarantee it😂😂

    • @RealBuzzLife

      We’re finding it really useful actually. When we go camping its the perfect place to slide in the foldup table and chairs.

      Boot shelf creates a totally flat 2m+ space when back seats are folded down. Perfect bed or transporting large objects... Also the straps will connect when you simply lift the rear platform... The thing missing IMHO is a 230/240v outlet. Take outer shelves and add a QoQoo camping box and you have your weekender. Pricey, but then so are Transporters and this adds 77kw battery...

    Excellent video rather a detailed one!
    I hope you can brush off the loose hair like fur if you could use a suede brush/shoe brush - rubbing it sideways?
    The inner material is not very good quality-lasting quality material that could last a lifetime....your views please!
    Best Regards.

      Yes, I’m worried about how it will look in a few years. I’m trying to get some seat covers to fit it.
