They Lived Underground For 200 Years Because Earth Was Dying

For 200 years, the city of Ember survived underground. However, their time has run out, and the generator that powers the whole city begins to die down. Two young kids, Doon and Lina, try to unlock the generator's secrets, hoping to find a way to escape Ember and venture out into the outside world.
