Beautiful Beethoven's Septet played wonderfully by this very talented trio of
clarinet , cello and piano
What a perfection in playing together.
Great
Beautiful Ludwig Van! And played brilliantly by three talented musicians.
The trilogy of the instruments resonates a rapturous melody. Truly remarkable performers. Vivid rhythmical tempos, dynamic and delicate phrasing. Simply beautiful.
Fantastic! Their performance is full of charm and inspiration.
Wow!!! Wonderful. Andreas, Sol and Dejan, you are, each one separately, fantastic, together you are absolutely unbelievable!

Profound combination of the three players create mystic mood in my room,
As an amateur clarinetist I wish to be able to play the trio before leaving earth.

J'adore !
Bravo.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
i feel the tension among the players - makes the performance even better!
What kind of tension is that - I don't think they hate each other.
The scherzo was fabulous 👏👏
Man that is Gorgeous

@hochrhein Musikfestival This is your only Beethoven performance on youtube? Please do more!
Microphone kinda doesn't work properly at the end, I think.
+Sebastian Flügel Where?
Thomas Märki It starts at 31:40 where you hear two of every note.
10:18
Eigentlich müsste im Verzeichnis der Name und Vorname der Notenwenderin (page turner) aufgeführt sein (state of the Art)
Alle haben Recht! Es ist noch schönner für drei Instrumenten. Brav!
Both Septet & Trio just as beautiful, offering own unique sound. The Trio allows the clarinet to stand out more & shows off pianist's virtuosity as his part encompasses essentially 6 (7 - 1 clarinet) instrumental parts. Van Beethoven's own transcription shows his genius! Love it all ...
What is the story behind this piece?

Op. 20 is a masterpiece, then how can this work be bad? impossible!

Beethoven used the third movement theme in another composition I think.
The whole composition is an arrangement of his famous Septimino op. 20.
Sonata 49/2

Unlike the clarinetist, the pianist can afford to move his mouth as he wishes, good for him. If one does not like looking at the musicians, don't like and LISTEN at the beautiful interpretation of the gorgeous and fun to perform music written for listening (not watching) ! Bottom line - there is only one van Beethoven! Bravo to all (4) of them!
Typo: "don't look and LISTEN", sorry ....
Either the audio engineers were asleep that day or someone's ego got in the way. Most of the time the cello sounds rather weak and distant, which certainly is not true of Ms. Gabetta usually.
No the cello is often overbearing. I can barely hear the clarinet, which is a very powerful instrument mind you.
@@IsaacW. Sorry but l disagree. On my playback setup (iPhone 6 and Sony headphones) the clarinet is quite present throughout, although it does sound as if the engineers fiddled with the balance in the latter movements. For comparison, suggest you listen to the other Hochrhein recordings, which are generally of a high technical order indeed.
Miese Balance zwischen den Instrumenten. Fehler bei der Tonmischung. Schade weil toll gespielt......
Klarinette by Clarissa I agree!
I prefer the strings version (Opus 20, the Septet) which is more lively and stirring.
Thank you! I knew I had heard this before, with different instrumentation.
There are better more robust performances of this piece
