WORST and BEST FOOD and DRINKS at HARRY POTTER WORLD JAPAN | Universal Studios Japan

- I'm continuing my food adventures at Universal Studios Japan by eating my way through the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I get the seasonal feast at the Three Broomsticks and also a cup of frozen butter beer as well! There really aren't too many eateries within this section of USJ, but that just means there are fewer choices for anyone with decision paralysis :D
I actually found that Harry Potter World was not all that busy! In the past, you'd need to get a timed ticket in order to enter the area, but this time around I was able to walk right on in at any time during the day. This might be subject to change depending on the season, but it was a pretty pleasant surprise!

My family ate at the Three Broomsticks in Universal Hollywood in February. We got the family platter. The food was good (not great, not bad) however the service was HORRIBLE. We waited for 40 minutes after ordering to get our food while the staff casually visited with each other behind the counter. We could see food platters and plates sitting on the counters behind them! We didn’t get the dessert so I can’t comment on it. I got the hot butter beer (it was very cold the day we went) and it was excellent! Sadly, I couldn’t get more of the hot drink at the butter beer stand outside later as it is only served in the Three Broomsticks restaurant.
Oh no! I'm glad your food experience was still relatively positive even with all the waiting you had! I can actually imagine the hot butter beer being pretty tasty, especially on a cold winter day, so hopefully I can make my way back on over to Harry Potter World some time in the winter when they offer it and give it a try 😊

Went to Universal in Orlando and the chicken was very dry too but I found the ribs to be a bit better. As for the corn it was a bit bland and dry. The fish and chips was really good though. 🙂
Oooo I don't remember if the Universal here had fish and chips but that's definitely something I'll have to try whenever I visit the one in Orlando!
