I'm doing my first trip to Super Nintendo World here in early November.. Not going to lie, the whole ticket system USJ has to enter seems so... complicated
Cooincidentally so am I. Managed to buy my ticket today.
So am i! I've been debating on early entry or not so i can have a better chance at nintendo world
@@pantstresbien I did buy one. Had to use Kleek but like you said I want the best chance to go.
Me also 😅 so confusing
How was your trip planning on going in july any tips?
Nice job! Thank you so much. So informative and fun to watch. You like the cool uncle that knows everything.
Thank you for such an informative video for everyone who wants to go to USJ.
Your videos has been very helpful especially on our last USJ trip. We took your food recommendations seriously as to not waste time lining up and end up not liking the food. Also the USJ app tips are definitely a hack, not everyone (especially foreigners) use the app for the timed entry tickets.
This video is so helpful, on a side note this vid made me plan a trip next year with my buddy here TY SM
Love your video thanks for the hotel tips! Planning on going back this summer !
Thank you Chris! You can tell you put soooo much love into your videos!
I appreciate that! Thank you!
Thanks for the helpful tips Chris was just wondering do any of the rides have metal detectors or just the entrance of park I have a metal implant
Wow! Your video is so helpful. Thank you.
Thank you so much!!! Omg you saved me a lot of stress
Of course I prioritized DisneySea on my first trip to Japan, but I also spent a few days in Osaka and decided to go to Universal Japan for a day. It was amazing! Plus they have JAWS! I blew more money on Snoopy and Nintendo merch than I spent in all of Tokyo Disney and the city of Tokyo combined. 🤣 This was easily the best “movie studio” theme park I’ve ever visited.
Did you buy the tickets on the spot? If you did how long did you need to wait?
WOuld you recommend to visit both? Or which one was better: Universal Studios or DisneySea?
Very informative!! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the tips! Before your video, I was uneasy about Timed Entry eTickets
Thank you for this! I will be there on November!!
I'm literally going to be there next week! I'm so excited! Thank you so much for your videos!
Have fun!
Doreamon coaster was worth the wait!!! So amazing!!
Gracias! Muchas gracias por los subtitulos en español! El video muy informativo y explicado muy bien! Muchísimas gracias!!!
i planning on going in February maybe, so excited & also nervous as i've never been to japan before. love your videos!
It'll be cold but you'll have a great time! The tips in the video will help make things easier for you. Thank you for watching!
That’s so amazing that universal offers all those cool down methods … I luv the summer merch and the water guns how fun … as far as the foodie stuff I had my eye on the strawberry soda 😀
Amazing tips. Thanks from Brazil!
Thanks so much for the video! So useful, I'm Planning my trip for October and I'm so excited for Halloween nights!
Have fun!
Thank you for your advice. My wife and I had the hardest time getting Disney tickets, and used Klook and it went so amooth and we had no problem.
Awesome! That make me happy to hear!
Thank you so much! We got our tickets and express passes on Klook! So excited to go!
Have fun!
Thank you Chris for your amazing videos and all your great tip!! 😊😊
Thank you!
Hey Chris! Love ur videos, everytime I watch one it leaves a smile on my face and makes my day! One day my dream vacation is to go to Japan hopefully soon! Keep up da awesome videos!!😎
Thank you!
THANK YOU CHRIS!!!!❤ we love you
Last October, we entered the park about an hour after opening and there was only 1 time entry slot left for Super Mario World. It was the 6:30pm slot and we feel it wasn't enough time before the park closing time. I felt bad for my little nephew because he was looking forward to it the most.
My favorite Disneyland attraction is guardians of the galaxy mission breakout. It’s such a fun ride!
Wow, your USJ video is so informative and helpful for beginners! Can't wait to return for the Donkey Kong expansion in 2024 🤣😂
I stayed at the Singulari Hotel & SkySpa, very convenient location for both the train and Universal 😁
Thank you! I'll be going early January. This will help :)
Thank you for watching!
My first time going to a park like this. So very excited!
omg yay. I'm so happy you made a video on this. :)
Your channel always makes me so happy and I love rewatching videos. Hope you are doing well.
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the video Chris! I'm wondering if you could please do a video on the rides at universal studios where you talk about each ride and describe the type of ride it is and the intensity. I'm going in October but am worried about certain rides because I get motion sickness so would love to know more about the rides themselves!
You can look on UA-cam and find POV videos. If there is no video for it then chances are it is too intense to allow people to film.
I don't have any plans for a video but in our guidebook we do list the intensity of each ride! tdrexplorer.com/books
Pretty sure I saw you at the park last week when my family and I visited. 😊
Thanks for all the tips! We are going to the park at the end of August.
Have fun!
Thank you for this video 🎉❤ are you going to film about this year's one piece?
Everything looks so clean. I envy a nation that is so clean
Seeing Usopp and Nami on the boats made me freak out a little. Lol One Piece is my favorite anime❤ Thanks for these tips!!!
Thanks Chris you are the best!
Awww, shucks. Thank you!
Love it! Your videos are so comprehensive. When I make my way to the theme parks I'll be well prepared?
Thank you, Kelly! I try my best to give the best tips to make things easier. You're gonna be so well prepared!
oh dear, i'll be going in march XD luckily can make use of the single rider's line as i'm going on my own.
Thank you! I love you! 😂❤ Everybody keeps talking about Universal but they never mention the logistics. I’m planning my trip on my own. So thank
Thank you! You definitely need to plan to know what’s going on. I just released my updated 2024 guidebook for USJ too! So if you need more help, my guidebook has a ton more information for you!
tdrexplorer.com/books
Great video! I can't wait to go back to USJ :)
Thank you!
Thank you very much
Getting a refresher
Love that snack box! We just went to USJ and we got sun burnt, it was so hot! Next time we're bringing sun hats and parasols. 🌺Heidi
Besides the sunburn, I hope you had fun!
hi Chris! This is so informative ty. I 2as wondering if you had any insights into the VIP tours at Universal?
I need that shirt before I go ❤
Thank you so much! My family shall be heading to Japan in November! We are thinking about going here for Nintendo World!
Super Nintendo World is great!
I'm so grateful for videos like this in part because I'm a vegetarian so I feel like I can experience the non- vegetarian foods lol
Thank you for watching!
Still my favorite so far
I'm about to fly to Universal Studios Japan this Saturday, July 15 2023. What a coincidence that your video was just uploaded 😃!
Have fun!
@@tdrexplorer I'm sure I will! Thank you so much 🥰!
ライトブルーのパッケージのポテトチップスは私もお勧めします!めちゃめちゃ美味しい!
Well somebody is fancy, needing Google to ask for some Grey Poupon. 😂
I'm glad someone saw that hahaah!
I love your videos so much
Thank you!
Thanks for the tips! I booked my tickets and express pass today. Had some issues with credit cards but got there in the end. 😅
On the website itself? Did you have to fill in a address? I could only fill in a japanese one
@@romychar yeah I used the USJ website and changed it to English. All fine with UK address. Tried with iPad and Apple Pay as recommended on some blogs etc but that didn’t work. Laptop and click pay by credit card worked in the end.
@@robyndunn3679thanks i got it to work!
It's my second time but first with my wife 😊
Thanks for the info 😊😊😊
Greetings from Korea 🇰🇷 😊❤
Thank you for watching! Have a great time you two :)
Ty for this video! Super useful! Do you know if you can upgrade a 2-day pass to annual pass at USJ? & How do u go about upgrading it?
I am going to Japan on the 28th of July I am so excited because I am waking up at 5a.m for my 8a.m flight and I am going to universal studios too and eating a lot of sushi!:D and btw I am from Macau
Yes My family and i are going to Japan it's our first time . we are going soon .
Thank you so much for this helpful video! If I buy the express 7 pass that includes various rides, am I guaranteed to be able to go on these rides if I show up at the allocated times or is it a possibility that it will be so busy that I don't get entry in my time slot? Thank you
Thank you so much for this video! We are planning to come to Universal mostly for the Harry Potter attractions. I was planning a whole day just in the Wizarding World part of the park, is that too much time?
Hey Chris Love your videos! I purchased 2 express passes (1 for me 1 for my daughter) Unfortunately we have different timed entries for Nintendo world and Harry Potter. Do they make a big deal if you're going with someone and you have different times?
Great video! One question Do you know what No Stock means from the Express Calendar Website?
Thank you so much for the video! Unfortunately we „overslept“ the in advance booking time, no express passes available at all..
Where can I find the blackout days in general so I can see if it’s a busy day?
And will we still have a chance without an express pass to enjoy the Super Nintendo world when we get there one and a half hour earlier for example? Aren’t we able to get any express pass at all now?
omg. For a muslim, 18:04 is really really helpful. Thank you
Thanks for the info! Do I need to load my express pass bought from Klook, into the USJ app as well? Or just the stupio pass? Thanks!
Thanks Chris for this video. Do you know any other companies that sell the tickets as USJ won't take my Intl credit card and Klook has sold out on the express pass I wanted ?
For Muslims ladies, if you wear scarf, USJ staff will provide clips at ride entrance so that your scart won't fly off on roller coasters.
This was so helpful! Thank you!! If I were to buy an express pass, which one would you recommend?
It depends on how many rides you want to do because there are so many to choose from. Most people go with the 4
@@tdrexplorer Thank you!
Thank you Chris for your videos! We just came back from Japan last week. Spent 2 days at Tokyo Disneyland 2 days at Disneysea and 2 days at USJ. We were wondering that we might bump into you in some park and lucky enough My partner did! He said he met you around Jurassic Park area while I went the restroom. After I came back we tried to look for you but couldn’t find you anymore. Btw Love your videos and pls keep up the great work. 😊
Oh no! I'm sorry you couldn't find me again. I hope you had a wonderful time!
What’s the difference between Disneyland and Disney sea
Funny seeing @ordinaryadventures in the background!
Haha it's from my Super Nintendo World Hollywood video!
This was such a great guide! I am only able to go in July. Does anyone have any tips for how to survive the terrible heat/humidity??
Hi Chris, do you have an idea on how to get the Early Entry admission? It seems not much infonis around. Is it exclusive to the Park's hotel guests?
Hi there, How long it take to cover the whole Universal studio? Many thanks
Just wondering, can you do a video showing the accessibility for these parks? The US has disability access passes to help disabled guests and guests with disabilities access the parks easier, I’m wondering how it works in Japan?
Do you have a vdo for disney sea 1st time visit tip? Thank you. new fan from Thailand.
Is there any secondary markets other then Klook? the express pass is sold out on the dates that I'm going in March
Hi Chris. Do you know why the park ticket is only available to 10 october? Its been stuck at that date for several weeks now.
Hi @tdrexplorer, thanks for the video.planning my forst trip to USJ on the 4th of April. i can get entry tickets now but Exptess Pass 4 thrills is only available up til the 29th of Feb. Do you know from your experience when dates after the 29th of feb might be made available? The "Fun" express pass seems to be the only one available post Feb 29. Thank you
Thanks Chris love your videos so much info. We went at the beginning of April this year and went to USJ on a Tuesday like you suggested with an 8&9 yr old. My opinion is you don’t need an express pass it’s not worth the price. Just get there early and go to Nintendo world first, be prepared for a long day. We did it all in one day
Thank you for watching!
what time did you get there to be early enough to get in!
@@Cookieanddough 8am
@@MakeupbyAliciaEWhat time did you leave? I'm planning to visit USJ on the 3rd of April, really torn if I should buy the express pass or not. How many rides did you get? Did you manage to ride the Harry Potter forbidden world?
Hello! Ty for your video. I tried to purchase an express ticket w/ a studio pass but the option were grayed out. Does that mean its sold out? Do you know if they’ll release the tickets in the future? Looking to go at the end of March 🥲
can i use my ticket on my phone or do i need to print it out? And that drone shot at the start with the massive lines, are some of those lines ones for buying tickets, and some of those are just for scanning? Im guessing the scanning line will move much faster if so cause that looks super busy!
After buying an express pass, do you have to scan it to get a timed entry? I got confused from this tutorial in a bit
Hi Chris,
I m going to USj first time in Dec (from overseas) and m thinking of doing 3 days with the Prime Standard pass. I checked that those 3 days arent blacked out dates. Is it safe to apply for my pass one day before onsite ? (I am staying at a hotel onsite that period). Will a pass holder be denied entry if it gets crowded? Thanks!
Hi, I'm going to Universal on a Wednesday... but in the summer. I can't arrive before 11.30am, do you think this would be too late to get a timed entry into Nintendo World please? Not looking for a 'for sure' answer, but more what your gut thinks. Thank you if you can advise!
I bought the passes and entrance tickets on klook. I need to redeem those where in the park?
thanks for the Video.
I have a question. I got an Express Pass 7, but one of the ride is closed on the day that I’m going. Is there a way I can substitute with other ride, or what can I do with that close ride? Thank you
Thank you Chris! I just went to DisneySea Tokyo 2 days ago and thanks to your tips I could get as many rides as possible
I also plan to go to Disneyland this Saturday (thanks to 3 days JPN holiday)
Then during Obon holiday between August 11 - 20th I plan to go to Osaka & Kyoto and definitely visit Universal Studio
So great to see you've just uploaded this video
Peace from Tochigi
Thank you for watching and great timing, haha. Have fun!
Hi, if you get a past pass ... say express 7, will you get a guarantee timed entry?
or do you "still" have to register to get a timed entry?
Thanks.
Great video! I'm planning my first trip to Japan this year and I have a couple of question, if anyone could help me, that would be awesome. Is early september a good time to visit Japan? I saw onlyne that it's typhoon season and I'm afraid that Universal might be closed (and Super Nintendo World is one of the highlights of my trip). Should I went later this year? Like early october?
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the video! Does Golden Week in China impact the crowds in the park?
I’d assume so, especially since they only recently fully opened Japan to China
As you said express pass do run out? Even we have bought so expensive still have to book for the time?
Helpful video! A concern I have is, if I have an express pass with a timed entry for Super Nintendo World, can I also get a timed entry on the app to explore the land two different hours of the day?
Di di get an answer to that? Did u manage to get in twice?
Hi Chris! Thank you for your video.
I had a question. I'm going on January 19th and I bought an express pass with my timed-entry for Super Nintendo World. I messed up because I got an express pass where the times are so close to each other & we wouldn't have time to do Yoshi's Adventure. How often are non-timed entry mornings occur? If I already have an express pass but I'm there an hour early before park opens, am I still able to get another timed-entry? I feel like I'm missing out on the land because the times are so stacked in our express passes :( Thank you for your help!
I’m going to Universal Horror nights this year, and I have one question that I can’t really figure out. What time do the horror nights usually end? I already have my express pass, but I would really like to know about how much time I will have to explore all the scare zones and stuff. Thanks!
Have just noticed, the fast passes for Halloween rides only seem to show on the JP site, not the international store or klook is this correct?
Hey! great video but have a doubt...if I have the express pass 7, is it probably to not be able to get into the Super Mario spot? should i scan the ticket as soon as i get in aswell?
If on the website says the park opens at 8am on the day I intend to go , does it mean it can open as early as 7am?
This video is of great help. I was just wondering should I get an express pass for my 3 yr old? Since on the USJ website it says that he should get a free entry ticket since he is less than 4 yrs old but express pass says “all ages”..
Hi could you also please do Tokyo Disneyland and Disney sea tips for first timers ❤
It's in my plans!
@@tdrexplorer thank you so much!! I’m planning to visit Tokyo 🥺 Also, I’ve always thought you’re Australian. Been watching your videos since idk when. But thank you for covering Disney and Universal Studios. Are you going to HK Disneyland again for Frozen / Arendelle land?
Looking for information about *Universal Prime Annual Pass Grand Royal*. It's only available on the USJ's Japanese version website as I understand it. Do you happen to know if it includes unlimited 'queue jumps' on all attractions (basic and time entries)? I could not find and confirm this feature/benefit in any Universal Studio Japan official web pages any where. Thanks in advance, great video!
