In this video I want to explain what happens to your items and characters, when they get rolled over after the Season 1 ends. It's important that empty your Stash before Season 3 starts, such that you don't loose your progress from Season 1.

Yes, Excited to play all the Content, however I don't expect myself to play as much as I did with S1, with accelerated Leveling I can see myself finishing all content even faster.
You didn’t tackle the most important part: what about the items that have seasonal affixes ? What carries over (I.e mount)?
If anyone is worried about this, just remember that there is always a new season coming in a few months. Making new characters and finding new gear is the game, so embrace the Zen and let go of your attachment to all worldly possessions
You obviously aren't a og diablo 1 player. This season bs is the reason diablo 4 is dead. Starting over and over is so stupid and unnecessary. It is a total waste of time.

I’ll never understand a game where I would grind for three months for it to be deleted and have to start all over again. Makes no sense.. glad I stopped playing long ago…

What happens to your seasonal characters "private" stash i.e. the non shared one?

I'm excited for season 2 having played Diablo 3 for many many many seasons on and off. I don't have any attachments to gear so I was actually prepared to lose all s1 gear but this is a good change.
NGL, I’ve not played the blood seasonal stuff at all yet because I’m new to the game & still working on maxing my first season’s character in eternal (I’m mid 60s rn).
Plus I didn’t want to get used to, or tailor my build around, having all these nice great upgrades to my character only to lose them once the season ends? I don’t like that aspect of the game at all as of right now.
As someone that works full time & doesn’t have tons of time to play, the whole limited time to get things aspect of games these days really makes it hard to enjoy games. I understand the battle-pass aspect of games & get why they do it $$$ but I feel they need to make sure they keep it cosmetic in most games & also work to not punish players who don’t always have the time or skill to finish the LTEs.
I’d be interested to know if anyone else is new to Diablo & is also struggling with having an Eternal build that will continue working long term without limited seasonal items
Maybe I’m in the minority there but it just sucks having every single build basically everywhere using something that is only attainable in the seasonal events.
Hope they find a way to merge the eternal & seasonal playstyles
What will happen with Items that have seasonal aspect inprinted ?

in d3 they jsut moved no need to do anything

What about the uniques added and the seasonal aspects, will those be gone or are they just getting added to eternal?
My auto-cast / auto-raise necro will become unplayable without his hearts. So yeah, I might take some things out like my Ring of Mendeln but a lot of things will only go to be sold or salvaged. Good thing though that gems will not be an issue this time around...

blizzard , failed with this one, they will and are loosing a lot of players because of this, we worked so hard on season characters to be downgraded, what reasons do we have to keep playing if it wont even matter after the season. Im disappointed, time to look for a new game. 👎
As all the gear will be getting a lot higher in Eternal (Max 820-920), I am storing my favourite maxed aspects for gear replacements. It may be though, that the item power of the aspects themselves get higher. Who knows.
The text on their blog post mentions a Withdrawal Only stash *tab*, which would be insufficient to put away all items from Season 1 for most people. So is it going to be a whole Withdrawal Only stash?

Does this apply for just one stash tab or all of the stash tabs from season 1, that much I’m sort of confused with. Is there only going to be one remove only stash tab in eternal realm or a bunch like in D2?

Actually, what about things like aspects and nm dungeons you stick in your stash? Can I put a bunch of uldurs caves in there then take them out on a new seasonal toon?

Salvage the rest. You get back majority of supplies used to upgrade items. Silver mainly important.

This is precicely why I never rolled a seasonal char. It sounds fun, but your char is crippled when the season ends.
Dont matter what happens with garbage gear since there is no point to the game at all..i quit months ago not sure why everone else has not but enjoy anyways.....take care.

Thanks for this was super curious about the stash. Im going with a cold ranged rouge for season 2 and in my stash i have a perfect roll penitence greaves and perfect roll frostburn glad ill be able to use them
Saving unique items sounds like an easy way to bank large amounts of gold for the next season.
I don’t see the point to keep my old characters cause I only play season so I delete them when new season comes lmao

@@elchancho8432 yeah really wish they would focus on making the core game better rather than trying to distract us with a bunch of soon to be buggy vampire powers. Not that I don't appreciate new seasons, but at least d3 waited till it had its shit together to start doing seasonal themes
don't care about D4 one bit and season 29 of D3 is a bust so waiting to see what happens in regards to season 30 and if it will be any good or not, if they start the rotation from number 1, then I won't be playing it for a few years
What's the point of Eternal Realm? Many builds are so bad without the Barber and other hearts. I assume this issue will continue in season 2 with what seems like over powered vampiric skills.
Season players usually delete their characters and only take items deemed worthy, like Uber uniques.

What happens to the gear stored on each seasonal character i.e not in the stash, but on the character itself?
@@SuperBlugh Since character is going to be transferred to Etenernal realm, probably will stay on it. Except for hearts, those will disappear, from on person and stash.
What about all our materials (iron chunks/ veiled crystals/ forgotten souls)
What happens to Renown? if you have all factions fully farmed, do you keep it? or need to farm it all again?
You keep it as of season 2. All of it. So if you got everything from renown you keep all rewards

Well did notplayed a single min of season one. Kept playing my hc eternal realm. Which i only got to lvl 80. But yeah season 2 will give a try. If bg3 permits me

Yes, they will.
And you get access to different bosses by doing NM dungeons, helltides unlock other bosses and tree unlocks others. Looks like only one you unlock first tier new bosses do you get to go at the big one... king of maggots.

so i farmed all those barber hearts for literally no reason they even removed them from my socketed items...what a trash game
So basically S1 characters can't legitimately play on season 2 content fully. Only just for fun.

What they could do instead is make a snapshot of your character, and lock it as a Season 1 character, not transfering it to Eternal. Then if you want to play on that character on Eternal, they will give you an option to either keep the stash from Season 1 or to Keep the current Eternal. That way you'll always have a choice to yeet out whichever stash you want. This would of course be a filler system until they give us Remove Only stashes in the future.

Why cant the seasonal character just keep the hearts?
Yes they are only for the season, and they can not because that Seasonal character becomes an eternal character no longer a seasonal character. When the season ends so does all of its mechanics. Welcome to Diablo.

That's the name of the game, you farm the seasonal mechanics have fun with them and then bam they're gone and y9ou get to do it all over again in the next season.@@vini-ix8yt

So unless I misunderstood, Eternal Realm Characters do not have access to Season 2 content. That's enough for me to quit after paying the insane price to get the game in the first place.

Eternal is a dumping ground of old items and ultra casuals. They won’t get any season buffs or items or battle pass

Are you new to diablo games? 11 years of seasons in d3 and its always seperate. Only time the season theme was shared with ns was s23 with the follower upgrade.
