Meatball mage, and I'm getting disheartened. I'm trying to masterwork +Fireball on Gloves of the Illuminator and have reset it 14 times now, without seeing any Fireball. Beginning to think it's impossible.
I've been running this build for 2-3 days. Love it! Only just switched to Barrage as the arm pain from clicking like a maniac got too much.. Got Starless and Tyraels Might so I thought why not mess around! I do miss teleporting everywhere with Flurry, but I don't miss my arm killing me all day.. 😂
I was using a rapid fire build i made until staying alive started to become an issue in higher pits and rank 7 horde mode. My damage started to slow down as well, but i was still able to do Tormented bosses and get Tyrael's, Harlequin, Selig and i crafted Andariel's. I played distance so i wanted to try a melee build and thanks to this i can farm comfortably now in endgame, i appreciate the build, it works great.
I was rocking a 530 item level amulet even through level 100 lol. But finally got a 925 with +2 to alchemical advantage and +2 to frigid finesse. Videos on my channel if you're interested
Bro I just got a amulet with frigid finesse and then got the unstable elxiers as a rerolled, alchemical advantage is not necessary once hitting attack speed threshold
Blacksmith is the real final boss. Bricking Tempering sucks lol. I spent 500m trying to roll frigid fate on my existing amulet just because it already passed tempering. Finally gave up and tried to temper a new amulet and man at 0/6 left I finally hit both tempers. Took 5 tries to get dark shroud damage.
I tried this build and was bossing through a lot of content. For the amulet i changed to an aspect that focus on momentum key passive. Helps with survivability.
How big of a difference is there really between Flurry and Barrage at the high end? I have the Barrage version going but I honestly don't care for it that much gameplay-wise. Even with Starless Skies it always feels like you can accidentally bottom out your resource sometimes.
i made a version of the puncture poison flurry that uses coldclip in conjunction with the poison basic imbue, and uses the new shard sword to make basics cost energy. with starless skies and some energy reduction on rings and bow it's pretty much free. BIG damage from shard and starless, and i use the dark shroud damage temper to get like 2k damage when at 5 shrouds. melts horde 7, pit 130 ease, it's just so fun!!!
Guess you don't know about the Beastfall bug where every single basic attack counts as "casting" cold imbue 😂 You can remove all cost reduction and generation if you wear those boots lol
@@droid5785 i dont want my build around a bug. plus i'd lose a good chunk of cc dmg, movement, and i dont use an ultimate as thats what beastfall is built around. game isnt fun when exploiting a bug
Ok wudijo. I know you're a rogue enthusiast that has played rogue almost every season. Im playing it for the first time this season. Serious question. How do you get a good amulet to drop? I have played/farmed a pretty decent amount and have starless skies, tyreals and andariels, but I cannot for the life of me get an amulet to drop that has alchemical advantage, frigid finesse and unstable elixirs. I cannot even get 2 of them together to drop. What do you do to farm it?
Either luck or you buy it from someone for billions of gold. There's no way to target farm a good amulet. You can also use obols on amulets, but most of them won't even be legendary, so the odds are abysmal.
@damionvoorhees149 Yeah, same here lol. I wish they'd put a couple of those passives on something else, like rings or boots. It's nearly impossible for most of us to get a decent amulet...
I'm using a cold flurry build, still no Andariel's helmet yet. Yen's Blessing boots work really well this season, as I have almost permanent cold imbuement.
@wudijo 6:59 why does your momentum values show 300/500 stacking to a total of 3000/5000 while on live it is 3/5 stacking to 30/50? Is there a way to increase momentum values or is this a visual bug? hi thank for the great vid, actually my favorite build now 😃 However can you explain why there is no caltrops in the max dps setup (instead of poison trap for example and played with Smoke granade for the totem) when its best modifier for single target where single target is the weakest point in the build?
I have a question. Why does no witness scale anderial. On the paragon board it specifically says it’s granting the x multipler to skills. Anderial is not a skill proc because then something like edge masters aspect or other multipliers that effect skill would work. Like the board is not stating it’s neutrally granting it just because.
Looking for this answer too. My main problem is Desecrators. Maybe with momentum I can tank a hit from those motherfuckers or at least dodge better. I'm playing on controller (PS5) and sometimes is hard to dodge desecrators one shots.
How much difference in damage between barrage and furry if you can guess same quality end game gear? Cuz i have done the barrage one and already doing billions but honestly i dont like the playstyle of barrage dashing around seems more fun
The damage is likely about the same but barrage has higher pit pushing capabilities obviously because it's ranged. I'd switch to what you have the most fun with especially if you have Scrolls of Amnesia
@@Always_RogueI pushed 154 on puncture flurry. I could barely do 144 on barrage. Flurry puncture has higher damage. It’s due to the multipliers your putting. Barrage losses multipliers to get the branching and high velocity.
I’m running Andariel barrage. I finally got my fourth spark and crafted Tyrial’s Might. The game is now stupid easy. I’m completely indestructible in T8 Horde and uber bosses are dropping in seconds. Pretty fun to blow up everything but also now a bit boring. Probably trying a sorc next.
Why have the additional 2 nodes on death trap? It will probably never kill anything, and the pull is insignificant. Wouldn't that 2 point be better spent on some passives?
@@mikegoldfinch what do you mean "its for cooldown"? It will never kill anything, so it will never get the 12 second cd reduction from its upgrade node.
I don't think death trap is good for this build in general. Been running Xarrio's version with caltrops to amplify the chill/freeze damage and I think it's better. Vids on my channel if you're interested

Wudi i was thinking about this flurry version from the beginning but had my sceptizism cos of still low lucky hit chance of flurry..but then again, it hits 12 hits once.and vs single target half hit..so 6 hits..still pretty much imo. Add umbracrux..this should be good. For extra tankiness can use selig that has also lhc that is main dmg related..should be fine. Shadow clone better if no metamorphosis on boots, cos just one shadow step is not enough vs like butcher who stuns every hit often. Id use metamorph on boots, this even better safety than selig, in thoose 2 sec unstoppable with boots implicit attacks reduce evade cooldown i have unlimited evades cos one flurry 12 hits reduce all evade cd. Have used metam in both main builds rogue and barb and..also its evade is always lucky hit. Yea..metamorph is secret word here ;) i try it out today. Korlic (friend of Corgan)

Idk i actually believe flurry variant is stronger total damage compared to barrage. My barrage build is doing 6-7b dots but my flurry because of more x stacking is doing 11b dots and up. I cleared a 154 on flurry and struggled with barrage and I have a near perfect gear. Barrage may be easier spam but I promise you total damage and dot will not be as high compared to puncture flurry. Even tho dps may seem better on barrage it’s only going to scale so high and just become consistent. Flurry puncture has more multipliers which scales the dot further.

Been running this build since day one. Finally found Andy's yesterday (and starless, shako, sellig, and Doombringer.) Currently running an unkillable setup with aforementioned Ubers.
Have you kept selig on? I'm still wearing mine. Think I'll just keep an ammy with GA ranks to exploit just for bossing but the selig stays on otherwise 😂 I swap my ashearas, umbra, and doombringer around, it's nice having 2 daggers so my attack spd isn't fucked, and I don't need the defense from doom while using selig, although it does let me do pit70 at lvl 90

How come everybody seems to still have the artillery shrine or elixir up all the time. I can no longer craft the elixir in S05 it seems. (Yes, I live under a rock =)

I found a temerity with ga on healing received. U can put noxius ice on boots umbrous on Amulet and you are unkillable. With the Barrier from second Wind + temerity you run around with 100k Barrier :)
@@BakaCow see that's what I mean, I don't have Tyraels nor starless skies but all my stuff is +8 with the right stats and crits and it's all smooth sailing until a desecrator spawn and I can't even see the attack between all the madness to try and avoid it and the run is ruined. luckily Adam Fletcher just answered me on Twitter that the devs already know about it and are trying to fix it
im forcing myself to love the game, as much as i loved D3, but those builds are soooo fking clunky to play. no matter what class you pick, the game feels clunky and boring in some way, idk.... im putting all my hopes on the spiritborne
This game is so boring. All you had to do differently from andy's barrage was put points into flurry instead of barrage. There is no creativity at all in this game.

The key passive stacks up to 10x giving you 300x damage at max stacks, to include the damage per dark shroud.

It's to keep up no witness from paragon aswell as 15% dmg reduction from preparation. I have it almost perma up

The flurry is SIGNIFICANTLY faster at speedrunning NMs or 101 pits. For pushing just go Barrage Obama.

@@danzo9528 the totem works on flurry but it’s puncture that your using. Flurry is for speed. Puncture flurry does more damage then barrage.

It works during their stagger. That's where most boss damage will happen anyway.

Yes you really need it. I had the exact same struggle. Now i am at 50 k HP nearly and Do t8 without dying easily
I found a temerity with ga on healing received. U can put noxius ice on boots umbrous on Amulet and you are unkillable. With the Barrier from second Wind + temerity you run around with 100k Barrier :)
@@BakaCow see that's what I mean, I don't have Tyraels nor starless skies but all my stuff is +8 with the right stats and crits and it's all smooth sailing until a desecrator spawn and I can't even see the attack between all the madness to try and avoid it and the run is ruined. luckily Adam Fletcher just answered me on Twitter that the devs already know about it and are trying to fix it
Yes, i was one shotted on hardcore at t7 with 80,000 hp with barrier
They will nerf poison hard just like last season babarian bleed 😂 all build is with poison now

Starless is only good to fix resource issues. If you dont have this problem, you dont need them.

This game is so boring. All you had to do differently from andy's barrage was put points into flurry instead of barrage. There is no creativity at all in this game.
