I'm so tired of Gotenks being just a joke. I get it, the failed fusion is "funny" but we see them fail more than actually fuse. Should by this point in the timeline they be professionals at it?
I think this is their way of saying that fusion isn't going to be a thing anymore. Specifically for these two. It's not a coincidence that it was pointed out how these two are always so codependent on one another to defeat a foe and that they might be diverging on their own path of power like Gohan.
Or maybe or maybe this is a hint to stop fusion and develop on their own in power so they don’t have shared feats .. if fused trunks and goten would only get half credit if they ever defeated an opponent which also hasn’t happened . They should only use fusion as a last and I mean absolutely last resort . They should get stronger on their own

That just feels like such a natural continuation of this Broly's story. If the Broly movie was a reimagining of the 1st Z Broly movie but setting up Broly as a hero, this could be the Super reimagining of Second Coming but with Gohan and Broly as allies...maybe even an extra spin on that movie's ending, with instead of Gohan getting help to combo-beam Broly to death, it's him and Broly combo-beaming together to take down a threat.
My biggest theory is that them collecting data can lead to a Canon Android 21 I mean it would make the most sense and it would explain her power level being so high due to the data she has especially since she was shown for a brief moment in the previous Ark it couldn't really be building towards something or just a new Android in general (edit I would also say that 21 being introduced and having all of these implications could mean her power would fluctuate past what it did in the game which would make sense considering this is her in Cannon

What good would recording the fight do if they won’t even get to see the footage. During the Cell saga when Goku vs Cell was being recorded everything was a blur even with slow motion and all you could/hear with the shock waves from their attacks clashing. Now they’re many times faster than that

this never happened in an actual chapter but in one of the volumes there was one of these post chapter doodles that toyotaro does before the start of the next chapter and it had gogeta and broly and gogeta saying something like 'there wasn't enough time for our epic batttle to be included' so i think that fight did happen in the manga
The craziest thing about this whole chapter is that red ribbon cameras can keep up with these warriors. I hope them recording the fights does lead to a future threat down the road. Like android 21 👀

personally i don't think that the gammas were as strong as ssjb, especially at that exact moment because goku and vegeta both got significantly stronger off planet that the people on earth didn't know about.
I'm pretty sure the name Beast for his transformation is referring to the inner beast or potential he has always had. I find the name fitting for the transformation as gohan has always struggled with his inner beast.
One thing that always bothered me about the fusion technique particularly with the patora earings, do the warriors meld memories? That would suck if Goku and Gohan did fuse and then Gohan goes mentally insane because he can relive the memories of his dad and mom getting busy
