Christchurch is the best place in NZ 🎉 It has so much to offer in terms of facilities (shops, movies, the theatre, parks, gardens, swimming pools, Zoos/animal reserves, attractions e.g. the International Antarctica Centre). It also is so easy to get around because of being flat, has a great low cost bus system, beautiful parks and trees everywhere throughout the city. It is also so easy to get to multiple beaches and skiing is just an hour or so away! Christchurch is an amazing place to live in! 😍🤩
Thank you for sharing my home town (left in 89😳) in such a positive and energetic way. You’re obviously smitten with the place and my sources tell me CHCH has bounced right back following the 2011 earthquake and is quite the hip place to be. My favorite memory is the Port hills. So many walkable and mountain bike tracks so close to the city. Still home sick after all these years!
Hi, I am planning to drive a campervan from Auckland to Christchurch and will spend around 5 days in Christchurch. This is a great video, and I will consider it in my itinerary. Thanks!
if you want good hot pools in the south island hanmer springs would be the better. its naturally hot water from underground. the new brighton ones are not naturally heated. just dont put your head under the water for health reasons. plenty of nice places here to visit, christchurch hasnt really got the vibe it had pre-quake.
Which activity would you like to try in Christchurch?

It's true, it is a great place to visit.
You get used to the quakes.
You get used to the quakes, it's the tidy up afterwards that gets annoying
